It was the worst motel I have ever been....It was dirty, the room was not really safe (aka the lock was easy to break). The cabdriver told us it was a prostitution place and that it was not safe for us to sleep there (and we know cabdriver see a lot of thing during a night shift). There was also a machine to order porn for several hours (so imagine what is really going on at that place) Also the rooms smell really bad and the furniture look really used. Oh and one more thing....on their website they annonce theirselves as a 3 stars motel, but when you arrive there it is a 2... So really not worth it for almost a 100$. And they will not refund you even if you don't spend the night there because it is too scary. Don't go there....there are really much better places for the same price and with better quality and service.

Booked through Booking.Com - complained no response. You book an hotel and you get to stay in the motel at very high cost.
- Motel & Hotel Le Luxembourg Quebec City, Aug 13th 2022 through Booking.Com On our return trip from Nova Scotia to Toronto, we misfortunately booked one night stay at Motel & Hotel Le Luxembourg Quebec City, Aug 13th 2022 through Booking.Com check out Aug 14th 2022 .Charged 323.43
We encountered a number of unsatisfactory service levels which needed urgent attention. We booked 2 rooms’ total 5 guests. Room # 103 and Room #114 were allotted to us. We were in room # 114 as we were three adults. The rooms allotted were not similar to the ones posted on the website and extremely low standards and were in a very pathetic condition. Even the one on the website is pathetic when you actually see it. We called several times before we were checking in, for help and spoke to the representatives of Booking.com one of whom hung up and the other took a long time to get the manager for urgent help around 5.00 pm Aug 13/22. It was last minute realization we had no choice but to stay at the property as the owner would not refund us the money.
The pictures shown on the website is a huge misguide as to the actual rooms offered. The rooms offered were in a dilapidated condition in a motel on the same premises. When we asked for option (no good either) rooms in the hotel on the same premises the owner said to our utter shock, there will be additional cost involved. The premises was full of insects and wasps without any maintenance.
Extremely unhygienic, old motel, broken washrooms, the air conditioning unit was lying on the chair. There was leakage found in the toilet as well. Bed was ruined from use with smell and spills, hole in the wall, mosquitoes, no toilet roll holder, and taps rusted linking, pathetic cubicle old partially functioning shower, very small washroom, leaking roof, uncleaned vent pictures attached. Smoke Alarm removed. This is highly unacceptable and hazardous from a competitive company like booking.com. Such vendors should be restricted to participate on any website who take exhausted travelers for a ride having no choice but to live with the issue. The level of service was extremely unsatisfactory. They took more than an hour to check-in in spite of there being no queue. There was 200$ additional charge hold for 7 days for damage to property. To add here that we were travelling since Aug 6, 2022 and our experience at all the hotels booked through Expedia.ca (till Aug 13) was very pleasant and hassle-free as all hotels were the same or even better than shown and described on their website. We were not sure on our return journey regarding the travel time and hence did not book any hotel on our return journey earlier. Our whole trip experience and pleasure went down the drain after staying in this motel for one night on our return journey. Question Does Booking.Com check the premises at all before they are allowed on the website?
PLEASE DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL as it UNSAFE, UNHEALTHY and FILTHY !!!

The room was $129.00 for one night. The motel is one of those bungalow style on one floor with an outside access only, there was a renovated seperate building on the lot but we did not have our room there. The room in question was smelly, old carpets, plain gyproc on the wall that has not been painted in a long time & yellowed, it was supposed to be a smoke free room but there was an ashtray outside the door & cigarette burn stains on the one inside table. The bathroom is the size of a bedroom closet. I would hate to imaging an oversize person fit in the cheap shower stall. The TV did not work, upon calling the front desk, she sent the Asian owner who edcated me about the remote & how to work the TV, apparently you have to do a number of steps to have access to TV, no welcome litterature, explanation litterature, bar /lounge menu or hours, there was a used telephone book acting as a leg for one of the 2 beds in the room. The room is worth about $55.00 to stay at, not the exhorbrant amout they charged. Had it not been a busy weekend & had we not arrived tired,we would have looked somewhere else.

Don't waste your money on this one.

Free parking. A kitchenette. Free internet, what more can you ask for when you pay the bare minimum for a six night stay in a motel. The room attendants, and the front desk lady were super nice. Although there was a bit of a language barrier the room attendant tried her hardest to meet my needs. For what I paid I have nothing bad to say about this motel.

Stayed here one night. Desk staff very efficient and friendly. Drive up motel room. Cozy warm room with great wifi. Excellent value for the price we paid. Closer to airport than University Residences Notre Dame de Foy, and rooms had tv, microwave and mini fridge. Cons: sink backed up, security chain on door broken. Totally ok with shower only. Would stay here overnight again considering the savings and the fact that the staff were nice to me.

after 14 days of camping and traveling it was nice sleeping in a real bad again. normally we stay in hostels, but this time this place was cheaper (55$CAD excl. tax/ night) as it was including parking. Of cause don´t expect any luxury as it is still a Motel, but the room was clean as well as the bedding and the bathroom- and this is all that counts to us plus the free wifi.

The bedding smelled like pine sol, cover up the dirt instead of washing it - one of the beds was broken like someone had been "jumping" on it, the porn machine was also broken, not necessarily a bad thing I guess, and there was some rather disturbing goings on in the room next to us at 3am. On the upside the staff were awesome, they plugged the coffee machine with quarters to fill up our thermos, about 6 cups worth.

This hotel nearly ruined our trip to Québec. Saying that this hotel is ridiculously bad is an understatement. There was no A/C, no cable TV although there was a coin operated porn box next to the tv (also broken). The bed was hard and all the furniture was purely decorative. Our room had a jacuzzi but it was dirty, spewing black stuff when it was started, and then once started it would not stop restarting until we called the front desk at 2am to turn off the breaker. We needed to do this twice. There was also a lot of noise outside and the fire alarm battery was low and would beep. Worst of all we couldn't lock our door from the inside; there was a chain but the chain wasn't attached to the wall. Do not go here, unless you hate sleep, romance, and general enjoyment. The rest of the room was somewhat clean though.

Stayed here as part of our cycling trip on Veleroute des Bleuets around Lac Saint Jean in early August. Did the same trip in 2011 and stayed here then as well. Although our cycling trip ended in Alma, we stayed here both times on our way home to Ottawa. I seem to recall that we had better rooms last time on the ground floor. This time we were on the second floor and there really is no place to store your bikes. Fortunately they had a ground floor room that was being renovated that we were able to use for storage. Room was quite musty and fire alarm in the hallway was in pieces. Room was large and clean. We stayed here as it was on the outskirts of the city and we really just needed a place to spend the night on our way home, not to see Quebec City. There are other options in the area and I do not think I would stay here again.
