Our house, built in 1898, hosts 12 rooms, suites and studios in the heart of the very old and very lively Saint Jean Baptiste area, and is at a 10 minutes walk from the Old Quebec. The Château des Tourelles is primarily a small cozy hotel, where people feel good and a little like at home. Our panoramic terrace covering the roof of the hotel will seduce you, as it offers one of the most beautiful views of Quebec, the Laurentides Mountains and part of the Saint Lawrence river and of the Orleans island. So... see you soon!

The hotel is due a refurb in December,it’s set in a bohemian street with, cafes, bars, shops, restaurants. We enjoyed the walk into Quebec City centre ,great to browse the shops, along Rue st Jean. We had a room on the front and as reviews have mentioned the initial stairs are very steep,we met guests from all over the world. The kitchen, living room is shared and is functional, may not be to everyone’s taste.,we had breakfast every morning, purchased our items from one of several supermarkets. Information is good in the property how everything works. The outdoor terrace is an added bonus, with terrific views. We had a front room on a Main Street,a few doors down from a fire station, noise wasn’t a problem, but it may not suit everyone. The room was basic, very clean and functional, staff were.very polite and recommended a local taxi service..

Wonderful stay - the property is as charming as it is convenient. We had the studio with kitchen on the ground floor. The back door opened right to our private parking space so it was really easy to get around. Everything was spotless and well appointed. We checked out the terrace but of course it was cold and covered in snow. It’s sure to be wonderful during warmer months. The guest portal is very helpful. This was our first visit to Quebec City and our son’s first visit out of the US - this made a terrific first impression! There are restaurants and shops up and down the street. We would definitely book again in the future. Thanks especially to Jade, who was consistently patient with my questions!

My daughter and I had a lovely time while visiting Quebec. We each had our own attached room with a small balcony. It was very spacious. The location was perfect for everything. We especially enjoyed our breakfast at the bakery across the street which was included in our stay. Everyone was warm and friendly. The garage is located a few blocks down the road but was reasonably priced and it was heated which really helped during the frigid temps. We were located on the 3rd floor. Although there is no elevator it was not an issue. Needed the exercise after eating the yummy foods. Every time I emailed about a question I received a response quickly. I followed up with many of the suggestions for meals and they were spot on. If you have the opportunity to go to the Siberia spa it was invigorating. Our highlight of the trip was dog sledding by acompany called Nordic I believe. You can't go wrong staying here. It was a very memorable trip. Most things were all walkable within 25 minutes

We just returned from our 5 day trip in Quebec City and Chateau des Tourelles was one of the highlights. It is centrally located in one of the main arteries of the city Saint Jean street with a plethora of cafes, restaurants and bistros. The street was blocked over the weekend and local bands were performing. We had the opportunity to experience authentic Quebec City life and all tourist attractions (Old City, the Chateau) were accessible on foot. Our group of 3 stayed in the triple suite and we had a large outdoor private terrace with sweeping views of the City. Privacy, elegance and a lot of character

We stayed one night at this hotel, during a short trip to Canada. The room was big, very clean and the staff was very friendly. The hotel is at a walkable distance from old Québec City, which is really worth a visit! The breakfast was excellent and varied, and it was delivered directly to the room! Finally, the historical hotel building has a nice terrace from which you can have a very good view over Québec City.

Excellent customer service and attention to detail. They were accommodating when we had a later than expected check in. Great location. I left an article of clothing in the room which they noticed right away and mailed to me. Will stay here again.

Small hotel with French auberge flair. Historical building means staircase not so straight and small bathroom, but that’s what makes its charm. Welcoming owner, great bfast, amazing view from rooftop terrace, great location.
