Excellent bathroom and amenities. Small refrigerator and microwave. Nice to have breakfast box choice of sweet or salty/savory, however very limited options for non-dairy people. The pool is a plunge pool, a bit chilly. There is an adjoining splash pad. As expected, a bit of traffic noise per the highway.
This hotel had everything we needed. We didn't mind at all that breakfast was an individual box with a turkey croissant, yogurt, cookie, cheese, and fruit. In fact, we had something else for breakfast (a muffin, or something), and we took the "breakfasts" with us. Every day we visited a different park and picnicked by a fountain or garden. It was lovely. Parking was plentiful and free (and we didn't have any trouble finding street parking in old town). The hotel was clean. Staff was welcoming. My daughter found the bed hard. Oh, well.
We stayed in this hotel for two nights just before our cruise to NYC. This hotel is clean, staff are helpful, the room is comfortable. The location of the hotel is in an industrial warehouse district, unless you have a car, there's nothing to see within walking distance! It's highways all around! However, it's very close by a couple of key bus stops to get you downtown within an hour. Google is your best friend. The bus system in Quebec City is quite efficient -- $3.75 will get you almost anywhere. They are very punctual, so make sure you get to the bus stop on time or you could be waiting 30 min to 1 hour for next bus. The hotel offers breakfast in a box since covid and they haven't gone back to the breakfast room -- sucks for guests but good for hotel 😂. The salty box is a croissant sandwich with a yogurt, a cookie and a stick of cheese. The sweet box is same except substitute croissant with banana bread. Nothing fancy. The hotel also offers two coffee machines which is very good, as well as juice dispenser which is great. There is a pool but you need to reserve your 30 minute time slot, which we didn't bother. The room safe never worked for us.. Keeps ERRORing out... since we were only there two nights, I didn't bother. Overall, I would stay here again if I come back to QC.…
One of best pet friendly hotels. Rooms are very clean and love that are non carpeted. Have also stayed at their hotel in Drummondville which also very good but the quebec city hotel is best-great staff, great rooms
Hotel is very clean and well maintained. Check-in and checkout was quick and hotel provides free coffee and soft drinks 24/7. The proximity to sightseeing places in Quebec is closer. I think due to covid the breakfast is a boxed meal but it was good. It has very good parking space around the hotel.
Lacking staff, as everywhere does, but it shows in the cleaning of the property. The carpet in the hall is never vacuum. So, the first feel you get is that it is a pretty unclean and disgusting place to stay in. I had a suite with a kind of kitchenette due to food allergy, but there was no kitchenware. None! So, the kitchenette was useless, which was pretty upsetting since I had pay more to get a room with a kitchenette. No vegan breakfast box option available. All box contains dairy.
Very nice stay 5 miles from Quebec City. The bathroom and bedroom were very clean, modern and up to date and the staff was very friendly. A boxed meal plus oatmeal and cereal were offered with a very modern coffee machine/cappuccino/cafe mocha machine.
Needed a room for the night to break up an 1800km trip. Found this not far off the route. $410 for one night in a basic room seems extravagant though. Staff was great but kids were running up and down the hall all night.
Great hotel located close to the centre with many shops and restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful. Free drinks in reception. Clean rooms. Only downfall was breakfast was the choice of two boxes.
FALSE ADVERTISING. The hotel is not pet friendly!!! They refused us, because they do not accept dogs on the second floor. I told her than the hotel was not pet friendly if a part of the hotel refuse pets. She responded that was the hotel policy and that was all. We did not get the room and they did not try to accommodate us. Beware of the fake pet friendly advertising.
