My wife and I spent 3 nights in this Auberge and have mixed feelings about it. Included among the positives are: 1. the interesting collection of antiques throughout the space, 2. location - it was fairly convenient to the Old Town, and 3. it was fairly quiet. On the challenging side: 1. getting up the stairs with a suitcase was a bit of a challenge for a senior citizen, 2. breakfast was a bit of a disappointment - there was limited selection, the coffee was the Kirkland brand, and the only item that appealed to me was the croissant. The negatives noted, I would go back now knowing a bit more about he place.

Beautiful property, great location and outstanding staff. We had access to lovely common rooms, kitchen, and a delicious breakfast each morning. We would definitely stay there again. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Short distance to Old Quebec.

We loved everything about this place. It was great having total access to everything there. We came in from a damp afternoon one day and thoroughly enjoyed fresh coffee and freshly baked cookies in the parlor by the fire (which was easily flipped on and off). Access to the kitchen and outdoor terrace were also great features. Bedroom was small and cozy, but since you had the whole house it was not an issue.

Room Tip: I would avoid carrying any luggage larger than carryon size since the stairs are steep and tight.

What a wonderful find!!! Quaint, relaxing and close to all the sights! Friendly staff when arriving. Donna, the owner, is welcoming and professional! Really open and available! Very clean and we felt quite at home! We had use of the kitchen and could put all of our things there, in the fridge. Would definitely recommend this B&B! Thank you again!!!

I'll keep it simple here as very accurate lengthy reviews have already been written about this B&B on Trip Advisor. This is a great place to stay. The accommodations and food both get 5/5. The host and location both get 5/5. I'm not sure what else there is to say. If two people want to go to Quebec City for a getaway, they should consider staying here. I really think they will enjoy it.

5 of us shared 3 rooms at Clement and Nathalie's awesome B and B. Excellent hosts and awesome breakfast. A fantastic location also, just a walk to everything, including the train station. The location is very nicely decorated and has very historically significant pieces.

This was truly a unique B&B and we were delighted to have stayed. The common areas are up a narrow flight of stairs so large pieces of luggage may present some challenges, however our host was very helpful. The common areas are furnished with many antiques, and personal touches abound. The bedrooms on the third floor are small, but well furnished and decorated. I would describe our bedroom as cozy, not spacious. The owner is a wealth of information on Quebec City, it's history, and places to go. The breakfast is truly excellent. The owner can provide parking but you have to ask for it. Don't miss exploring the store on the street level.

We have stayed in B&B’s all through North America and Western Europe, and this place rates in our Top 3 places ever! As is usually the case, in my experience, is the Innkeeper themselves. Clément is no exception. He is the very epitome of the gracious and accommodating hosts, and we truly felt we were staying with friends while at his place. The location and facility itself is very nice. It is located just at the very edge of the old city, and an easy and interesting walk into the attractions therein. The house is a beautiful example of the period and is wonderfully decorated as well. Breakfast was a first class experience for sure. Clément brought out each of the three(3!) courses with a wonderful and detailed explanation of each dish. We also received French culture, history, as well as language lessons while enjoying our meal. Why people stay in chain hotels is just beyond me! What an experience. Clément is a wealth of knowledge about Quebec City and all of Quebec Provence, and gave us great advice as to what to see after we headed out of Quebec City. Again, this is about as good as it gets in a B&B setting and I would strongly recommend this place. Say “Bon jour” to Clément for me!

Quiet, lovely linens and beautiful furnishing in this 1871 old house that has been updated with taste. We stayed three nights and had excellent breakfast every morning. The knowledgeable host/owner, Clement, gave us a brief history lesson and told us top places to visit. The B&B is associated withr the oldest grocery store in Quebec, J.A. Moisans, which has a European flair with 'to die for croissants", great sandwiches and yummy coffee to end your day.

JA Moisan is a wonderful restored Victorian B&B in Quebec City. Uniquely located within walking distance to most points in the city, the rooms are extremely comfortable, clean and the breakfasts are absolutely fantastic, The B&B is located above JA Moisan store which is the oldest continuously operating grocery store in North America. The store has all kinds of goodies from sausages, cheese, pastry, vegetables, a wide range of spices and coffees and all kinds of unique items. Natalie and Clement St. Laurent are wonderful hosts, going out of their way to make not only your stay at JA Moisan, but your stay in Quebec City very enjoyable. Definitely our B&B of choice when in Quebec City.
