We typically don't stay in B & Bs, usually choose a luxury hotel on vacations. We decided to try something different for this trip, and make the visit to Quebec City more like it would be if you actually lived there. If you're not familiar with B&Bs, realize that you will have a small room and will share common areas...

It,s not the cheapest B&B in town but it's definitely one of the best. For 5 star service and warmth from Clement and Natalie it's well worth the price. The rooms are small but the overall ambience makes up for that. This is a great place to stay.

My husband and I travel to Quebec City each year over Thanksgiving weekend for a romantic weekend away. We hadn't found a hotel to which we wished to return, until we stayed at the J.A. Moisan last year. It was everything we wanted in a B&B: hands down the best breakfasts that I've ever had (three courses with delightful foods...

Everything about this 'B & B' is first class. It's centrally located and only a few minutes walk from the city centre. The whole place was incredibly clean, the three course breakfasts were of the highest standards imaginable, the owners were friendly and very helpful and it is, without a doubt, the best 'B & B' my wife and I...

We would unequivocally recommend this B&B to any couple looking for a pleasant stay in Quebec. The breakfasts were the highlight of our trip, and we formed a fast friendship with our host Clement. We can still remember in detail the exquisite cuisine we were treated to each morning. The location is perfect, right above a store owned by the...

Lets just say my first breakfast was a full three course meal of eggs benedict with smoked salmon-- and it got even better after that.. Have you ever had the option of two kinds of flavored gourmet salt with a meal? These people have restored a beautiful old house above the oldest grocery store in North America to 19th century...

We have travelled extensively and stayed in many luxurious hotels and bed and breakfasts but this one takes the top prize. The location is perfect - on St. Jean and so close enough to walk to the Old City of Quebec. The building belonged to an epicerie owner from the 1870's and has been lovlingly resored by Clement St Laurent...

JA Moisan is located about 4 blocks outside the walls in a very active neighborhood -- restaurants, stores, etc. We were there for 3 busy days and were able to easily walk everywhere we wanted to go. Though the auberge is right in the middle of everything, it is very, very quiet. The building has been immaculately restored. There's a...

My husband and I have traveled extensively and stayed at many B&Bs. Auberge JA Moisan was excellent. The building is a restored 19th century building filled with antiques and new hardwood (cherry) floors, paneling, and trim. Clement and Nathalie have thought of everything. The gourmet breakfast was a work of culinary art served in your choice of sunroom, outdoor patio...

We spent 2 nights at the Auberge. Clement, the owner, is warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable about his city. He will adapt his recommendations to the travellers' style. His wife cooks fantastic breakfasts, different every morning, and more brunch than breakfast. The auberge was re-decorated a few years ago in the style of the late 19th century, and feels very much...
