The interior of this B&B above their store is magnificent, all has been restored to the 18th century setting. The rooms are perhaps small but they prosper in style and ambiance. The owner Clement is very friendly and attentive. Breakfast is a real treat. Enjoy!
We had a delightful stay at J.A. Moisan in August. Clement immediately recognized our humor and entertained us with his. (The camera incident was hilarious). Clement was very well informed about the area and never hesitated to share his knowledge about all things Quebec. This...More
We totally enjoyed our two night stay here. The room was very well planned and comfortable and quiet. The breakfasts were the best ! The host, Clement, was exceptionally helpful giving detailed descriptions of the breakfasts, historic perspectives of Quebec, restaurant recommendations and parking our...More
Clement is a wonderful host, providing richly detailed descriptions of every element of the multi-course unbelievably delicious breakfasts (down to the coloring and proper use of the salts). The location is excellent -- outside the walls and tourist jams of old Quebec, but easy walking...More

I agree with Kalli3. Since you have stayed there before, you are familiar with how customer-centric they are. Giving him a heads-up will give him the opportunity to create workable options for both you and him.

I believe J.A. Moisan B&B is open during December. The winter rates are probably better than summer or during the winter carnival (February). The J.A. Moisan B&B website should have the rates posted for you to see. The J.A. Moisan breakfast, location and ambiance are fantastic so don't just look at price when comparing to other B&Bs.

NO. There is one very narrow flight of steps to the commons area, and another flight to the sleeping areas. Both flights have a sharp turn near the top. I also feel it would be difficult, although not impossible, for a "disabled" person to enjoy Quebec City. It is very hilly. I did see some people in wheel chairs, but VERY few. This is just my opinion.
