Despite what some reviewers have said, I didn't find the Auberge Escapade to be too bad. The room was pretty much average; nothing fancy, but nothing really bad either. There was a bit of a strange smell, and the door to the outside didn't work, but that's about it. The location is good for getting on and off A-55, but...

We stayed here for one night on our way out east. The room had very interesting, Asian themed decor. Very 90s. The bathroom was all black which was also very interesting. Although the room was pretty cool, we found it kind of dingy and dusty, and smelled like my grandpas basement. Hard to get used to. All in all, it...

We had no reservation but opted to stay in this Auberge which seemed ok from the exterior. The first room we got had not been vacuumed and the floor was filthy with black dog hairs!! We went back and we were offered another room on the second level. The room itself was much nicer and brighter than the first and...

My son and I stayed for 3 nights for a hockey tournament held in neighboring St. Tite. Overall, this motel-hotel is fairly basic. Some rooms have carpet others wood floors. Take note that some rooms have single beds that are really small for teens or adults. Comfortable but small. We enjoyed the breakfast which was included in the sports rate....

The professional photos of their website make the rooms look better than they are. We booked two executive rooms (view on the back side). Rooms are spacious but do not look nearly as glorious as what the website make them look to be. Everything is run down, just about every patio mosquito screens were torn. Lots of stairs to get...

We are a family of 4 and stayed here for 3 nights during a hockey tournament. Our room was clean with 2 double beds, mini-fridge, DVD player, and we controlled the heating/cooling. The bathroom was clean and the tub was a soaking tub with jets - nice. the staff was very attentive. Breakfast was included but as we were a...

Stayed here for one night in one of the deluxe rooms (oriental theme). The hotel says it is a 4 star, but they must have been granted that designation 20 years ago and never took the sign down. It is an old motel. The room was stinky, everything was covered in dust. I wished I could have smoked in there...

Stayed at the Escapade for 11 nights during the Memorial Cup tournament. Room was clean. Air conditioning worked fine (it got warm for a few days). Bathroom was of decent size and shower water pressure was good. Menu selection for the breakfast was limited (with the included coupons). Any substitution (eg: ham instead of bacon) would automatically trigger a surcharge....

It is a nice charming hotel. The bathtub was gigantic and comfortable after a long days work. The rooms are charming. I dined in the restaurant a few times and the food was delish!!
