We loved this charming house very well situated. Rooms maybe old but this is part of the charm and they are comfortable. Delicious breakfast. The lady owner does not leave a stone unturned to help with most appreciated suggestions. Her husband has the most wonderful anecdotes to share about tadoussac where he was borne and grew up. We would definitely...

Paul was very welcoming and informative when we arrived. ( we waited several minutes and knocked on a guest door by mistake, we looked for a bell but couldnt see one) were on the first floor so opted to leave our suitcases in the car and just take what we needed for the one night stay, rather than carry our...

My wife and I went to Tadoussac for peace, quiet and whale watching and chose Maison Hovington because of its charming character. We were not disappointed in the least. The room was clean and neat, the breakfast was wonderful and Madame Sonia's charm was enchanting. The view from our room was beautiful over looking the quiet bay with the ships...

The husband of the family running this B & B was born in this house, so it is interesting to see what a family house in this part of the world is like. The view from the front porch, a very comfortable place to sit, is outstanding, looking at the St. Lawrence River, the small port of Tadoussac, and the...

We stayed only one night to go whale watching. The owners are really nice and they behave like grandparents!! :) Breakfast consists of quebec homemade specialities, all sorts of maple sirup and cheeses The only bad thing was wifi, it never worked.. not so bad, tadoussac has a free public wifi ;)

My sister and I stopped here recently on a trip through Quebec. Maison Hovington is a great B&B in a perfect location. The owners are welcoming and very helpful. The building is older, the rooms are not large, and they are a bit cluttered, but charming and well maintained. Mother Nature hid the view from us with lots of fog,...

Maison Hovington is a great B&B, with wonderful hosts, a great view of the St. Lawrence and the marina across a park, within easy walking distance of the Marina and the Hotel Tadoussac - and a wonderful breakfast with far more options and food than you can eat. We met other guests from Italy and St. Barts which led to...

Hard to see why some people go overboard about this place but then Bund does prefer the functional and uncluttered to the ornate and cluttered! Booked the largest room for the extra space but even then the shower and loo were in a tiny cupboard. Even at a mere 1.75 metres (five foot nine in old money) Bund had to...

'Maison Hovington' is a warm, friendly, comfortable and small B&B managed first hand by 'The Hovingtons' - we had a sea-view room named for family member 'Esther', one of only 5 rooms - you can't ask for better - Madame Hovington was welcoming and ready to assist - her breakfast was tasty, varied and full of oven-warm surprises -Tad is...

The view from the big front porch and yard looked across the bay and was gorgeous. The proprietors shared their fascinating family history with us. Each of the rooms is named for one of the great-grandfather's children. Breakfast was exceptional. The rooms and bathroom were very clean. We definitely would stay there again Denise and John
