Went to this hotel upon recommendation from a travel blog plus Trip Advisor reviews as a good place to stop on the road between Montreal and Quebec City. Had it been in summer maybe this hotel would have been a good choice in order to relax along the river but on a cool wet October day the location was not at all convenient to partake in food and shopping options in Trois Rivieres. We would have been better off staying in one of the larger hotels in the center of town. But location is not the reason for the poor review. Don't get me wrong the hotel staff were very nice and friendly and they even offered to switch our room when we realized we would have to climb a winding staircase with our bags to get to the room we reserved. The reason for the poor review was the room itself. The decor of the first floor room that they gave us was very dated and in need of renovation but the real issue was the bathroom shower. There was mildew and mold all along the caulking between the shower floor and the wall tiles and the grout along the shower wall tiles were dark and dirty. Looked like they hadn't been bleached and scrubbed in years and the bathroom had a mildew smell.

Beautiful setting on the water. You can sit out on their patio and look at the water or walk down to the lake. The rooms are a bit dated but super clean. We had the living room suite and the room was huge! The restaurant is Excellent!!

Arrived late to this hotel due to massive storms in the area - many branches down on the property and several buckets collecting dripping water in the main lobby from the atrium ceiling. No elevator so we had to carry our luggage up a spiral staircase. Good size room which smelled quite musty - unsure if that is typical or due to the weather in the area but the bed was comfy. Lovely location on the water but it is important to know that this hotel is located in a residential area and is about a 15 minute drive to any "city" amenities. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with excellent service at the onsite restaurant which had a nice view of the lake. More time here without the rain would have allowed us the chance to explore the lovely grounds and area.

We've been to Auberge du Lac St-Pierre many times and it never disappoints. The place is clean, the beds are confortables, the prices are great. We had dinner at their restaurant and it was very good. Not a bad thing to say.

We had fun in this small hotel. The view on the St. Laurent river is spectacular and the staff is really nice. The room was bigger than we expected. A bit of noise after 9 pm which is normal. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

Room extremely comfortable, bed mattress was just perfect ! Very quiet and very clean including floor carpet. The bathroom sink empties too slowly and the door of the shower needs some adjustment to close properly.

Perfect all the way. Super good food. The room was clean and pretty. The service of each employee was courteous and smiling. The land is magnificent with private access to Lac St-Pierre. We look forward to returning.

A hidden gem, would highly recommend staying here vs the city centre. Amazing view of the lake, you can go down stairs to the lake. Great rooms, with amazing view! Very friendly staff. The food was also fantastic, and restaurant was small but very very nice and modern. Will go back for sure !

Website indicated they had a restaurant which was open but after we arrived we found out they were unable to accommodate us. They advertised a boxed breakfast during covid but since the restaurant was open they no longer offered this and denied us access to all food including breakfast and dinner. They should not accept reservations if they cannot meet the needs of their guests and they should certainly not advertise food on site. Staff were unhelpful and did not notify us that meals were unavailable. Some guests were fed while others were denied with no warning which is completely unacceptable. Decor was tired looking . Lights were burnt out and walkways and laneways poorly maintained.

We highly recommend this hotel ! The location is amazing! Room was cozy! Loved the table for room service! Food was good but because of restaurant closure, food wasn’t hot by the time it reached our room which is inevitable 😉! Staff was extremely accommodating!!! Merci et à bientôt car nous reviendrons bientôt !!!!
