Spectacular view on the lake
The hotel is in a very calm location, one hears just the wind blowing. We loved the rooms, very spacious and clean. We loved very much the jacuzzi outside (covered however!). The staff is very helpful. On the negative side, the rain shower had a very small debit and setting the right temperature was not easy, the thermostat reacts too slowly. We found the mattresses much too soft. More surprisingly, a trolley with rests of food remained one day in the corridor even after we highlighted this to the receptionist. Not hygienic and pleasant to see old food abandoned for so long. The sauna is very small and not so cosy, only sitting position is comfortable. There is no lift so those with heavy luggage better call on male staff at the reception. If only a young lady is present, one may have a problem. For guests with reduced mobility, rooms at the ground floor are perfectly accessible. Overall, a nice and calm place.

We spent one night at the Auberge du Lac Saint-Pierre at the beginning of a week-long drive along the Saint Lawrence. The hotel is perched up on the high banks with a beautiful view of the river. We arrived early enough enjoy a visit to Trois Rivieres and to have a drink on the terrace before dinner. We ate dinner in the dining room but later wished we had stayed on the terrace for a more casual meal with the beautiful view. I started my meal with fois gras, which was served with a blueberry compote and popcorn, which we both found pretty bizarre. Husband had a tuna appetizer which was lovely to look at and delicious. My main dish was salmon crusted with cashews and husband had pork.
Overall it was a pleasant stay and the room was comfortable.

We have stayed here on several occasions, each time overnight only. The location is well west of Trois-Rivières, right on the widening of the St. Lawrence which forms Lac St-Pierre. One can regularly see large ocean freighters in the Seaway.
The rooms are on several levels, without an elevator. At least one is on two levels, with a sleeping loft.
This time we looked out over the water, with a shared balcony with the next room.
There are steps leading to the water where there are lawn chairs on the rocky beach and one can enjoy a glass of wine and relax watching the freighters.
Our room was comfortable, with an excellent bed and an excellent rainforest shower.
The accommodations are becoming a bit dated, and the whole Auberge needs some renewal. Our room had a central overhead light which was full of flies, and there were a number of cobwebs.
We had only breakfast in the dining room. It was good, although somewhat expensive for what we got.

Website indicated they had a restaurant which was open but after we arrived we found out they were unable to accommodate us. They advertised a boxed breakfast during covid but since the restaurant was open they no longer offered this and denied us access to all food including breakfast and dinner. They should not accept reservations if they cannot meet the needs of their guests and they should certainly not advertise food on site.
Staff were unhelpful and did not notify us that meals were unavailable. Some guests were fed while others were denied with no warning which is completely unacceptable.
Decor was tired looking . Lights were burnt out and walkways and laneways poorly maintained.

Went to this hotel upon recommendation from a travel blog plus Trip Advisor reviews as a good place to stop on the road between Montreal and Quebec City. Had it been in summer maybe this hotel would have been a good choice in order to relax along the river but on a cool wet October day the location was not at all convenient to partake in food and shopping options in Trois Rivieres. We would have been better off staying in one of the larger hotels in the center of town. But location is not the reason for the poor review. Don't get me wrong the hotel staff were very nice and friendly and they even offered to switch our room when we realized we would have to climb a winding staircase with our bags to get to the room we reserved. The reason for the poor review was the room itself. The decor of the first floor room that they gave us was very dated and in need of renovation but the real issue was the bathroom shower. There was mildew and mold all along the caulking between the shower floor and the wall tiles and the grout along the shower wall tiles were dark and dirty. Looked like they hadn't been bleached and scrubbed in years and the bathroom had a mildew smell.

Arrived late to this hotel due to massive storms in the area - many branches down on the property and several buckets collecting dripping water in the main lobby from the atrium ceiling. No elevator so we had to carry our luggage up a spiral staircase. Good size room which smelled quite musty - unsure if that is typical or due to the weather in the area but the bed was comfy. Lovely location on the water but it is important to know that this hotel is located in a residential area and is about a 15 minute drive to any "city" amenities. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with excellent service at the onsite restaurant which had a nice view of the lake. More time here without the rain would have allowed us the chance to explore the lovely grounds and area.

We've been to Auberge du Lac St-Pierre many times and it never disappoints. The place is clean, the beds are confortables, the prices are great. We had dinner at their restaurant and it was very good. Not a bad thing to say.

Stayed for 3 nights in this hotel which is in a quiet and rural setting. Room was on one of the upper floors where there is no lift. However, staff happily took our cases to our room. Room was large and reasonably furnished and with a very comfortable bed. Bathroom was also large but could have done with somewhere to place personal items such as a shelf.
Restaurant was excellent for dinner and we ate here on 2 nights. Food was cooked and presented to a high standard. Service was also excellent. Note it wasn't open every night for service during our stay.

We had fun in this small hotel. The view on the St. Laurent river is spectacular and the staff is really nice. The room was bigger than we expected. A bit of noise after 9 pm which is normal. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks!
