November in Prince Albert National Park is almost my favorite time of the year - especially this year with the weather so good. My wife and I enjoyed a 2 night weekend at the Hawood, room was clean and comfortable, and reasonably priced. Bed was very comfortable, and overall I would recommend a stay here.

OK first the good. The room was very clean and a good size, seemed a bit bigger than average hotel rooms. We had a two queen bed room that faced the alley, although it had a balcony. Honestly facing the alley wasn't really bad, no big deal because we didn't spend a ton of time in the room. The rate...

We had a great time. A wonderful resort town and this hotel is in an excellent location! The good is very good in the restaurant and the staff will look after you. My wife is a fussy water and they looked after us. As well the have a good selection of beer and wine. Which is important to me. Lol

I was in Waskesiu for a meeting this week. It was held at the Hawood and I managed to get a room to stay there as well. After a mix up with rooms and keys at check-in (I was given keys to a room that someone was already in), the hotel was a good place to stay. I expect that...

Staff was "nice". Hotel is getting old and run down. Paper thin walls so bad that you can hear a normal conversation. The people above you sound like they are coming thru the roof. All round very poor for the price. Time to take the money and update

This hotel is in a good location, pretty much right at the centre of all the action in Waskesiu. The inn has a pretty good restaurant, although it is overpriced, much like everything in town. We had a ground level room - pretty dark. The room was good, had an ok bed, and very good shower. It was very clean....

My son and I stayed here for two nights. We had a lakeview room with a balcony. Room was clean and spacious. Irene at the front desk was so nice; We arrived at 130 which was too early for checkin so we went to the restaurant. As soon as our room was ready, she popped into the restaurant to tell...

We have used the Hawood Inn for our annual workshop. The facility is great for meetings. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and very nice, especially if you have a beachfront room. It is close to shopping, galleries, the beach, restaurants and more. However it doesn't have internet access in the rooms. Only the lobby. This...

The "lake front" room is just overlooking a bunch of trees with the lake behind. Hotel is old but is clean, although it doesn't worth over $170 a night for this "view" room. Don't spend the extra cash for it. There were a bunch of blue collar guys checking in in front of me and my partner, the front desk...

We had an enjoyable long weekend at the Hawood. It is a dependable and clean hotel. Breakfasts in the restaurant were tasty. Staff was friendly and efficient. The Hawood is a little dated and could use some upgrading. The hot tubs on the roof need work. Waskesiu is a little piece of heaven on the prairies.
