I’m a repeat guest at this lovely hotel. Lots of parking ( not very busy for a sat night) damm covid! Anyway this place has yet to disappoint . Check in very friendly , Helpful knowledgeable staff. Very welcoming !

The room.. Beautiful as always very appointed with all bathroom toiletries and beautiful soft robes and towels! The bed was very comfortable! Best nights sleep in a long time! Very peaceful and restful!

Breakfast ( bacon breakfast bagel ) a nice waker upper with a beverage at the time you request.

Great protocols being met very clean rooms.. The coffee maker was spotless and was in a plastic covering . Very few little extra things in the room ( easier to keep clean leather couch and chairs less decor . Carpet showing a little wear

Otherwise will return great place to relax!

First time my husband and myself stayed there. Far superior to the Temple spa. The decor and feel of the room felt like we were in a bedroom not a hotel room.
We loved the feel of the hotel steeped in history.
Service was very good. Ran out of coffee in the room
And front desk was very quick in bringing more coffee pods up.
We are only 1 block from the spa so we walked there to use the pool. Location of the hotel is central.
We will definately be back. Hope to bring our children and grandchildren next time.
Truly an enjoyable stay.

We stayed here because we had a gift certificate.

On a trolley tour of Moosejaw, the guide said that the hotel closed in the 60s and was bought for $1 in the late 90s.

The hotel was cleaned and wonderfully restored. It is a beautiful historical gem in downtown Moosejaw.

Our room was cute and clean. The bed was comfortable.

The front entrance was gorgeous.

They also have a dining room restaurant (not sure what the food is like - we never ate there, but it looked really nice).

On site parking now costs $5 (I think their website said it was free). The parking lot is monitored by security cameras.

If you are looking for a chain hotel with pools, fitness centres, free breakfast, etc. this is not the hotel for you. However, if you want an elegant hotel close to all the shops and restaurants with a rich history, this hotel is for you.

We would stay here again.

Came to town to see the Tunnels so decided to stay here instead of the mineral spa hotel as on their hotel website the place looked nice and old-timey swanky.

The exterior of the hotel looks like any other old hotel of this period but the inside is quite nice. It really has good potential but it was a disappointment.

Although the lobby area is actually amazing, our room was disappointing. Carpets were not vacuumed and they were long past due for a shampoo. Kept my shoes on in the room as carpets just felt dirty.

Room was showing its age. Furniture all scratched up with no attempt to hide. Crack in walls just gooped with plaster without sanding or finishing. There was a little mini fridge just sitting by itself on the floor pushed in a corner. Small things like no disposable coffee cups or water cups or ice bucket. Heck the coffee machine in the room had the corded all wrapped up around it like they didn't want it used, and it was hard to find a plug in. The walls must be thin as you could hear what was going on in other rooms. No bathtubs.

Tried to get a pop from vending machine but completley sold out. When to front desk a couple times to ask but no one there....? Snapped a pic of a nice but seemingly always empty reception desk. There was a couple old pizza boxes lying on the counter in a common area for the duration of our stay. Parking lot very small and full .. so had to park on the street.

But as much as I know that hotels suffered during COVID I think they are now relying on some of the restrictions that use to be in place. You only get a basic paperbag breakfast despite their restaurant being open. No attending to rooms if you are staying more than one night. So many hotels are still doing bag breakfast despite restaurants being open...its time to move soon and get back to normal.

Can't say anything about their restaurant as I could not get in. They only had a few tables in use despite it being quite large. There were lots of empty tables. I suspect it is a staffing issue more than anything. Staff members were few and hard to find.

Next time I will stay at the mineral spa hotel

First I need to give credit to the heavenly bed and quality night sleep we got from this hotel. That’s the most important thing to me when staying the night at a hotel. The bed was clean and very comfortable. However I was surprised to find flaws in the bathroom. The faucet was loose and the toilet paper holder was almost falling off. The towel rack was poorly secured and I was afraid it would fall off when I grabbed a towel. The shower was clean but for the Grant Hall experience, I expected a grander design. It was a ill-sized plastic shower with a wand shower head. I thought tile or a regular size tub/shower attachment would be the style. Anyone over 5’10” would struggle in the shower. And no fan in the bathroom. Perhaps I’m being nit picky but it felt like you expected a royal experience and those things threw you off from your expectations. However, I will stress again the cleanliness of the place and the wonderful sleep we had. I took note of the brand of pillows they had because I liked them so much!

Booked this hotel for an Anniversary getaway. A few days before check in I got a call that the kitchen would be closed due to an emergency so our reservation had to be cancelled. Well bummer! BUT...the restaurant would reopen the day following. The customer service rep from the hotel worked with me to change the reservation for dinner and 1 night to the following night. She called me again on the day to check when we would be arriving to make sure that the 'sweetheart' package I had requested was ready in our room when we arrived. Dinner was SO good! I am not a fish person, but the Steelhead Trout was to die for and the Prime Rib melted in my mouth. We were upgraded to a King Classic room so no clinging to the edge of the bed that night! We wanted the experience of an oldy worldy hotel and we got it. Service was fast, friendly, professional and personal. They even delivered out room service breakfast on time. I can't recommend this Hotel strongly enough. Moose Jaw is a small city with a BIG heart!

Stayed here again and again enjoy the beautiful room the beautifully restored hotel it's a very unique property in a very unique experience the Front desk and lounge staff are amazing and friendly can't say enough about how enjoyable our stay was.

The only really downside was the restaurant. When we asked the hostess with the specials where she rolled her eyes at us and walked away.

Then there was the breakfast. What was last year one of the most delicious and extensive breakfast I had seen in a hotel has turned into your cold cereal and toast continental breakfast from a 3 star motel.

So when you book the room don't have the breakfast included and you will have a great stay. The go to Veronas down the street for eggs Benny.

Hotel is dog-friendly and super comfortable to stay in. We selected this hotel as we wanted to stay close to downtown. They do charge a fair amount for dogs to stay $50 per dog, per night. If you do tell them in advance, they may reduce the amount they charge you.

The room was amazing. It looked brand new - including the mattresses and you could see various fixes made that needed painting.

We had a corner room. And there appeared to be a door to allow for an adjoining room on the other side of us. I couldn’t tell if the door locked.

We also enjoyed a beverage in their dining room and lounge. They have parking just behind the hotel and there are lots of restaurants within walking distance. On the Saturday morning, there was a little market set up behind the hotel.

The Grant Hall Hotel went through a remarkable restoration a few years ago and it feels elegant and refined, but with none of the pretentiousness that one might see if it were located in a large city. It's centrally located in Moose Jaw, so that you can walk almost anywhere in downtown. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice. The dining room is also excellent and the lounge is quiet and comfortable.

A lovely hotel,go back in time in a way to Downton Abbey vibes. The room was very quiet considering it faced onto the main street, only issue is the quilt it's to thick,I like to be cool when I sleep, the bathroom is very nice but no counter space, the car park is terrible for a hotel like this,I expected better, staff are very lovely,we did have a snack in the lounge,I feel the food let's this place down,I had Spinach dip and the nachos were value range, they broke every time you tried to dip them, most were already broken, very thin, worst I've ever had with a dip to be honest.
In the evening we booked for supper in the dining room, very nice, very opulent,
again the food let It down, we ordered ribs with hand cut fries, nothing worse than soggy French fries that weren't even crisp, and hidden underneath the ribs, also the roasted mushrooms and onions not the best,so I have taken 1 star off for the food.

Hi Susan, each floor of the hotel has a fully equipped kitchen. Maceystars provided an excellent response to your question (thank you Maceystars!), identifying the included continental breakfast and patio area (the view really is something unique in Moose Jaw!)
