Very comfortable sleep. Sorry the restaurant was closed. Beautiful building. Very well done restoration. Knowledge of town was helpful...... Lovely quilt shop, breakfast place and park to experience.

Grant Hall is an absolute prairie gem. The staff are amazing. While the hotel doesn't have a spa, there is a well known one close by that is public. The restaurant here is very well known and should not be missed. While we had planned to stay at the other spa hotel, they wouldn't accommodate a late check out other than to say we could pay for another night. Grant Hall not only accommodated, they were incredibly welcoming. The hotel has beautiful character. This is absolutely the place to stay if your travels bring you to Moose Jaw!

We were very impressed with the Grant Hall Hotel. It was hard to believe that something that beautifully restored was actually in Moose Jaw! Lovely staff and very comfortable rooms. We would definitely return.

Very disappointed and would never stay there again. I won a gift certificate before covid and tried redeeming recently. When I made the reservation I was told it would be no problem using the gift certificate. When we checked I gave the front desk my certificate. They told me it had expired. I told them it's illegal for gift certificates to expire. They then told me it had already been redeemed in 2018. I told them I won it in 2019 so it's impossible that it was redeemed in 2018. Because they wouldn't honour my gift certificate I checked out. When I was leaving they told me it had been redeemed in 2019. I asked if it was redeemed how did I still have it in my possession. They said that it was weird that I still had it but still refused to honour it. Frustrating experience since I had made the reservations over a month before our trip.

We stayed here because we had a gift certificate. On a trolley tour of Moosejaw, the guide said that the hotel closed in the 60s and was bought for $1 in the late 90s. The hotel was cleaned and wonderfully restored. It is a beautiful historical gem in downtown Moosejaw. Our room was cute and clean. The bed was comfortable. The front entrance was gorgeous. They also have a dining room restaurant (not sure what the food is like - we never ate there, but it looked really nice). On site parking now costs $5 (I think their website said it was free). The parking lot is monitored by security cameras. If you are looking for a chain hotel with pools, fitness centres, free breakfast, etc. this is not the hotel for you. However, if you want an elegant hotel close to all the shops and restaurants with a rich history, this hotel is for you. We would stay here again.

Booked this hotel for an Anniversary getaway. A few days before check in I got a call that the kitchen would be closed due to an emergency so our reservation had to be cancelled. Well bummer! BUT...the restaurant would reopen the day following. The customer service rep from the hotel worked with me to change the reservation for dinner and 1 night to the following night. She called me again on the day to check when we would be arriving to make sure that the 'sweetheart' package I had requested was ready in our room when we arrived. Dinner was SO good! I am not a fish person, but the Steelhead Trout was to die for and the Prime Rib melted in my mouth. We were upgraded to a King Classic room so no clinging to the edge of the bed that night! We wanted the experience of an oldy worldy hotel and we got it. Service was fast, friendly, professional and personal. They even delivered out room service breakfast on time. I can't recommend this Hotel strongly enough. Moose Jaw is a small city with a BIG heart!

Stayed here again and again enjoy the beautiful room the beautifully restored hotel it's a very unique property in a very unique experience the Front desk and lounge staff are amazing and friendly can't say enough about how enjoyable our stay was. The only really downside was the restaurant. When we asked the hostess with the specials where she rolled her eyes at us and walked away. Then there was the breakfast. What was last year one of the most delicious and extensive breakfast I had seen in a hotel has turned into your cold cereal and toast continental breakfast from a 3 star motel. So when you book the room don't have the breakfast included and you will have a great stay. The go to Veronas down the street for eggs Benny.

The Grant Hall Hotel went through a remarkable restoration a few years ago and it feels elegant and refined, but with none of the pretentiousness that one might see if it were located in a large city. It's centrally located in Moose Jaw, so that you can walk almost anywhere in downtown. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice. The dining room is also excellent and the lounge is quiet and comfortable.

Unfortunately we were forced to stop in Moose Jaw due to an unforeseen late fall snow storm. When we finally were able to find our way through highways and city street clogged with semis and stalled cars (and widespread power outages) we were turned away at every hotel, motel, bed & breakfast, etc. and thought we might have to spend the night in our car. Our son sent a text saying that there was one room left at the Grant Hall Hotel. After some sketchy navigation through an almost shut down city, we finally made out way to the hotel. When we arrived we were told the only room let was a suite for almost $500.00 a night. Instead of this establishment looking at the dire situation and MAYBE giving two seniors a break and reducing the rate, they just kept this ridiculous rate. Four or more people could have spent the night in this suite instead of having to sleep in their cars. Would NEVER stay here again for simply that reason. Shame on them for not taking these exceptional circumstances into account and just simply just helping out their fellow man. Now for the pros and cons of the suite - the bed was comfortable, but for what you're paying for, the toilet paper was paper thin, one kleenex box in the huge suite, huge fridge but not stocked at all - would would think that at least a few bottles of pop or sparkling water - just nothing extra. Flower pedals, a few chocolates or maybe a bottle of champagne would be more in line for this price. Very disappointing........

We stopped at Grant Hall hotel multiple times. I love the interior which totally transfers me back to Europe. The rooms are great and all a bit different. Staff is knowledgeable and very attentive. Love, love the restaurant and lounge. For us a great relaxing experience on our way to visit the kids in Calgary. Totally worth it. 👌
