We had booked a room with a king sized bed. Upon arrival we were told the hotel had none and only a double queen was available. On top of that we were asked for a $200 damage deposit up front which was more than the cost of the room. When we got up to the room it was dirty. Carpet hadn't been vacuumed with stones and dirt embedded into it. Face prints on the windows. Fruit of the loom clothing stickers pasted to the walls. Ripped and dirty chair. There was damage everywhere in the form of dents, scrapes, and nail polish on countertops and inside drawers. The only thing clean were (hopefully based on appearance) the bedsheets. Once someone outside our window began to scream and yell we left. We were there five minutes, walked out and got a full refund. Booked at the Super 8 which had clean spacious rooms with no broken furniture or signs left by previous guests.…
Weekend stay was overall great! Breakfast was blah but is like that at other hotels I've stayed in, muffin, yogurt, juice box and fruit. Staff and housekeepers very friendly and helpful. Will stay again on my next trip.
I can’t believe the Ramada let’s their name be run down with a place like this. The hotel seemed like it was some sort of squatting camp for the homeless. We were on the third floor in a non-smoking room, but the whole floor was filled with smokers and our room where we stayed with our three children and dog reeked of cigarettes. Our sheets and blankets were stained, the floor had crumbs like it had not been cleaned, there were kids markers and balloons on the tv stand from previous guests. We have stayed in the Ramada hotels in other cities and was expecting it to be more of a luxury hotel in Prince Albert. It was not. The photos on the website do not depict what the hotel looks like today. The lobby was filled with drunken people fighting, cops, security guards walking the premises in t-shirts on their cell phones. We got harassed by other people staying there as we were leaving telling us they would cough on us (this is during the pandemic and we were in Prince Albert for a celebration of life/funeral) We feel like this hotel’s rating is too high, the price is too high. We trusted that the Ramada would be a safe place to stay with our kids, but it was not. We do not recommend. This hotel was not a safe place to stay.…
I booked online because I thought the location looked fine, right beside a Tim Hortons, across from a Boston Pizza, etc. When we pulled into PA it was the one hotel with maybe a dozen people hanging around the front. I try not to be judgmental but many looked drunk or high, stumbling around aimlessly. When I got out of my vehicle a couple started approaching me and asking me for money. I said I was just tying my shoe, and got back in my vehicle. We drove away and did some other errands for a couple of hours, and when we came back to the hotel, the same people were there, fighting with each other now, drunk out of their minds. No way would I leave my vehicle parked outside this place for the night. I never even made it inside the building. There are other great hotels in PA, without drunks hanging around the outside all day. Plus, the outside looks very run down, unlike the pics online. I have learned to never book online for Prince Albert.…
The rooms where horrible, including feces and blood in the bathroom and A/C not working. The second room they moved us two, tub didn't drain (fixed) and we had to changed the bedding. This was a stop over on a 16 hour drive. I've never gave a bad review before but felt I had to warn others that are thinking of staying here.
