My fiance and myself just returned after spending long may weekend here. Our little place was clean and had all amenities to cook ect. It had its own little bathroom with shower. A short walk to the little bear lake on the grounds. Would recommend to all ages young and old.

We go to the camp ground every year have been for over 7 years now. This is a quite beautiful holiday for our family and friends. The people that own the store and resort are wonderful the are always helpful and kind and you can find almost anything you need. The campground were we have a seasonal site is like a amall friendly coummity. everyone is always reapectful, friendly and kind. the owner of the campground keeps it clean and great to deal with. I fyou are looking for a true camping family experience this is the place to go! unlike other places where beautiful i agree but are too comercialized and are more like small towns instead. Our family loves this place because it is quiet beautiful and a true family eperience.. Higly recommended!!!!!! :):)

My girlfriend and I have spent a weekend twice and I myself have made three one day trips to this lovely little piece of the Saskatchewan north. The people who run this lodge are nothing short of outstanding and friendly. Last fall on my special thanksgiving weekend with my better half, I forgot to test the battery of my boat before leaving the city. We arrived at the lake only to find a dead battery. The owners of the camp not only offered to charge my battery, the loaned us a battery from their septic truck. Definitly above and beyond the call of duty. The lake has been burnt out from a fire about 10 to 12 years ago, this is however part of the appeal. this resort is in a natural, unprotected state, unlike overcommercialized places such as Waskesiu. Not saying that Waskesiu is not a beautiful place, it just is more of a 'town" than a true Saskatchewan lake experience. If you want to fish or hike or lounge at the beach surrounded by tree's there are over 30 lakes within a 5 to 20 minute drive, and you can catch almost any species of trout, pike , perch , and even the famously sout after walleye........ There are however NO PICKEREL, as these fish are not found in Saskatchewan............... But a real fisherman would know that. The Walleye is a cousin of the perch, and a pickeral is a cousin of the northern Pike.......To those that want to experience a neat lake, at a very neat little resort, this is great little place to go and experience a part of northern Saskatchewan. If you want to go to the lake and go shopping, or go to the movie theater, or play tennis, go to the Prince Albert National Park. If you want peace and quiet. I would definitly recommend trying out Little Bear Lake Resort. And I by the Way have spent at least a week every year for thr past 30 years at Waskesiu, SO I KNOW THE DIFFERENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
