Detailed Reviews
My husband and I had stayed at Dragon's Den about a decade ago. We had a lovely time then and I'm so glad we were able to stay again. Rick and Denise are lovely, warm hosts with lots of interesting tales to tell. They are friendly and accommodating. Rick's breakfasts are incredible! There were several kinds of fresh fruit, oatmeal, granola, eggs, meat, toast, different kinds of tea and jam. The coffee is very good. There are different foods for each day of the week. Rick accommodates various diets. We stayed in a basement room this time and there is a full kitchen there. Rick made sure we had plenty of heat in the bedroom and bathroom. There is a cute gas fireplace in the bedroom. The decor is cozy and tasteful. This house is very large with many choices of rooms on various floors. There are games available to play and books to read. There were snacks in our room when we arrived. The best part of our stay here was the conversation with Rick and Denise at breakfast. We also had visits with the other people staying in the bed and breakfast. There are several tables for guests to eat breakfast. Our table accommodated eight people. This bed and breakfast is located in central Regina and you can walk to many restaurants, museums, art galleries and other amenities. Thank you, my friends!

Our group of six friends enjoyed a lovely stay at the Dragon's Nest B &B. Rick and Denise made us feel very comfortable and the house is delightful. The location was perfect for exploring Regina with short walks to Wascana Park, the McKenzie Art Gallery, Royal SK museum, downtown and Cathedral area shopping and restaurants.
We occupied the upper floor and enjoyed the upstairs lounge for our group to hang out in the evenings. The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were plentiful. We enjoyed a hot afternoon on the back deck area. Rick prepared amazing full breakfasts for us each morning.
I highly recommend the Dragon's Nest B & B!

Denise and Rick are the most wonderful hosts! Needed a place to stay at the last minute and luckily rooms were available. I was traveling alone, and they took me in and made me feel like family. You'll never get a better breakfast anywhere! So delicious and filling, with something different each morning. So glad to have discovered the Dragon's Nest!

What a delightful B and B! Loved the Love Room with a fireplace that faced sleeping area and jacuzzi tub and a four poster bed. Plus a common area large enough to accommodate friends. My husband enjoyed the good company of Rick while I was away at business meetings. Can’t wait to visit in the summer when we can enjoy the back yard and hot tub!

I stayed at Dragon's Nest for 3 nights in the "Wealth Room". I greatly enjoyed my visit! The house itself is very clean and well maintained. Rick and Denise were courteous and went above and beyond for me. For example, I am a vegan and Rick was kind enough to accommodate me by cooking steel cut oats with berries and granola, steamed asparagus, heart of palm, fresh fruit, orange juice, apple juice, and tea. Their WiFi was reliable and I enjoyed the cable channels. My only suggestion is to bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper because you might be woken up early from the other guests or cooking in the kitchen (perhaps the room I was in was not very soundproof). The location was great-- it was a short walk to the Wascana Lake and the downtown area. I recommend that you go to 13th Avenue Coffee Shop for a great meal or stop by the Royal Saskatchewan Museum. Dragon's Nest was about a $12 taxi ride from the airport.

Thanks for your input. I now have placed those "disposable" ear plugs in the Wealth Room for those guests who may require them. This room is also slated for some upgrades...so we'll also see what we can do about further sound-proofing. Thanks again. Happy to accommodate you. Denise & Rick

What a nice, clean and cosy place to stay. Very warm atmospher and warm welcoming from the owners! Excellent breakfast. My husband is working in Regina, and I was meeting him for few days, the Dragon's net was the perfect place for us. Without a doubt, we'll come back.

We found the hosts Denise and Rick to be friendly, accommodating and professional. Their number one concern is for their guests. The amenities in the room and the breakfasts were first class. The atmosphere and décor of the dining room, living room and common areas was welcoming and relaxing.
We stayed in the Sage room in the lower level. It was cozy ,warm and quiet and was tastefully appointed from the amenities and towels in the bathroom to the "snacks" in a basket. It had all the things we needed for our stay and a small kitchen just out side our door. A very convenient and welcome feature.
We would certainly stay here again and recommend it to others.....what a great place to enjoy while you are in Regina. Don't miss this gem !!

I recently made the trip from a neighbor province to Regina for business and instead of staying in a little box on the highway, i booke a room at the nest. Rick and Densis are extremely friendly, and welcoming. After a long day of meetings and driving, a homelike attmosphere was very much needed. Although I was unable to stay for Ricks famous cooking, I can imagine that a few pounds may have snuck on me if I did! A great stay and definaltey will be back. Very clean, beautifull linen, and great character and characters.

I visited Regina with my parents and was advised by the owner that there were 2 rooms with a shared bathroom. I asked specifically if the bathroom was shared because we didn't want to share with anyone else. From the photos, it looks like there's a door to the bathroom but when we arrived, we were shocked to find out that the bathroom is down the hall and the photos were deceptive. We ended up leaving without staying the night. The owners were a little unprofessional when we arrived, especially when they asked for the time of our arrival - you would think that they would be prepared for us but she was in the shower and came down in a bathrobe and he came up from outside. Later in the evening, he came out in a bathrobe as well. I know it's their home, but it is also a guest house and it's 1:30 pm and 8:00 pm in the afternoon.

My friends and I stayed here for a wedding and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The owners Rick and Denise were warm and welcoming from the start and did a fantastic job making sure we were all well looked after and had everything we needed. The rooms were all large, clean and comfortable.
My particular highlights were Rick's fantastic breakfasts and the hot tub area out the back. Rick especially went above and beyond by even ironing my shirt for the big day!
The next time I'm back in Regina visiting friends, I'll be sure to return to the Dragon's Nest. I already miss those pancakes!
