The hotel was so great at making a welcome treat upon checkin, to celebrate a big occasion. Outstanding customer service. Location is close to many great restaurants, Starbucks and lounge in hotel were convenient. Breakfast was above and beyond expectations. Great pillows too!

I usually stay here while in town for business. The company pays for the hotel but I still receive the points which is nice. The staff are amazing and treat me very well. If you don’t have your room cleaned, you receive $5 for starbucks or the restaurant hotel.

Our stay was excellent in every way. The parking garage was super convenient with an elevator and luggage racks that we were able to get all of our belongings to the fifth floor easily. Our rate was negotiated by our team, and it included breakfast at the buffet each morning. This was by far the best breakfast in any hotel that our team has stayed in. It was delicious, fresh, and had lengthy operating times that suited most schedules.

The room was very spacious with a private balcony, clean and comfortable beds. Bathroom was exceptionally clean, zero complaints. Rooms were quiet and no noise could be heard from floors above. The keurig machine in the room worked well and we had an ample supply of coffee and decaf. More creamer was delivered upon request. A good size mini-fridge in the room kept our drinks cold.

The entire hotel was stunning with many places to sit and relax with friends in the lobby. As well, the app check in, and keyless card to access the rooms and elevators from the app were very convenient. Would 100% recommend.

The room was fine BUT the hidden extra charges were terrible. I initially booked the room on their website for the listed price for $118, king room. Thought that was a fair deal. Several hours later, when I received the itemized bill, the cost had ballooned to $171. Extras were charged for using their website, for cleaning the room and "other" unspecified charges.
Today, I checked my credit card statement and there were two more charges, $17.00 and $50.00! For what? The hotel was empty - we were the first to check in. There were only two staff, one at the front desk and one cleaning. The place was totally empty - no services. Our room didn't even have the two standard glasses that come with a room. No little liquor bottles in the fridge - nothing. We never even used the shower, although we did use some toilet paper and tissues.

Dear PatchDriver, Thank yo for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. I am sorry to hear that you left unsatisfied from your stay. I tried to have a look at your account and it appears that your actually booked through a third party site and were charged directly from them. Unfortunately you would have to contact them direct with any pricing discrepancies. The 50.00 was a hold that the hotel would have put on your credit card at check in time and 17.00 was for our parking fee. If there is anything else I can do to assist or explain better please let me know. Sincerely, Craig Boehm Director of Rooms craig.boehm@hilton.com

The Double Tree raised room prices by one hundred dollars a night as compared to their website advertising. There was only one working elevator the entire three days that we were there. Parking was seventeen dollars a night. There was no pool. The staff was good but the price of the room per night was definitely not worth my stay there.

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. I do apologize that our one elevator was down for a 4 day period due to a key safety component failing. Though we understand this was a inconvenience to our guests shutting the elevator off completely was the safest thing we could do for our guests. I can assure you that our pricing via our website and at the hotel level are in line with each other. The rates during this period are significantly higher during this time period due to a semi annual city wide event. I can assure you if you visit us during a quiet period our rates are are considerably lower. Thank you again for being patient with us in regards to the elevator. We are looking forward to your next stay being much more enjoyable. Sincerely, Craig Boehm Director of Rooms

The hotel was nice and our stay was good but we stayed when it was -40 out. We paid for parking for our truck that doesn’t fit underground so we could plug it in. We went to start it in the morning and it turns out the plug we paid $17 to plug into didn’t work! We had to get a friend to bring a generator and we ended up leaving 3hrs later then we intended. The front desk lady said all she could do was refund our parking. It never was refunded back onto my credit card! We could not leave the hotel as we had to watch the generator. By this time it was 1 o’clock and we hadn’t eaten. They had buffet on for $27 a person! We are not big eaters but it was to cold to walk anywhere and we couldn’t leave the generator so we’re forced to pay that for us and our friends or not eat! Nice hotel aweful customer service!

My colleague and I stayed for 2 nights Feb 5-6. The hotel is nicely appointed with thoughtful amenities. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I was especially impressed with and appreciative of the attention to allergies by the food service staff - gluten free indications on menus and on placards for the buffet. Very greatly appreciated.
My only complaint was the heating unit in my room was a bit noise when turning on and off and it woke me up a few times in the evening. I asked the staff to fix it during the day. It was marginally better the second night but not great.
All in all, it was a very good experience and I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Regina.

My husband and I booked this hotel 3-4 months in advance knowing there were few
full accessible rooms. I am an above knee amputee for 3 years and both my husband and I are learning a lot. U fortunately this was one of those times.
When we arrived for check in, we were informed that the ONLY full accessible room was booked. But we might be able to have an accessible room.
The room itself was very nice, beautifully appointed.
When I tried to use the bathtub, I was great full we had brought my shower stool with us. Unfortunately, after having my husband help me get in, the shower hose had a large whole in the tubing, it was unusable.
The front desk responded immediately, and within half an hour we harps a new hose.
Now here is where the hotel needs to think a little more. My husband and I were enjoying a drink and bite to eat at the bar. I headed off to use the washroom. While it had a wheelchair sign on the door, there was no button to push to open the door. I tried 3 times to back in, using the bigger wheels, no luck. Off I went to the front desk to let them know that I was not able to access the washroom . This is a function that should be available to everyone, regards of their limitations.
It was quite demeaning for me to ask for help, when I shouldn’t have to.
But again, the staff were quick to respond to help me. But it should not have been required. Installing a button would be in everyone’s best interest. No one should be made to feel lesser than anyone else.

It was very nice to wake up and grab Starbucks in the morning and not have to leave the building. Very close to downtown Regina and the staff during check in made me feel very welcomed. I really enjoyed the cleanliness of the room and hotel.

Rooms need a bit more cleaning attention. Use caution at breakfast if ordering off menu. Orders take forever and arrive cold. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Evening food in lounge is excellent quality.

I saw on the hotels website you have to pay for parking. Is this true?

Yes that is correct it is $15.00 a night which is one of the lowest rates for any of the downtown hotels. Craig Boehm Director of Rooms

I believe the incidental hold was $50.00 (in addition to the room and tax). Your best bet would be to call and speak to someone at the front desk.
