Great hotel! The price was right too. The staff were courteous and helpful. The online check out is neat. The free breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and comfortable. And it’s right close to great restaurants and shopping. We will certainly be coming back!

Stayed last July for 1 night on our way west with two adults and 3 kids. The pool was closed so we didn't get to experience that. I've worked front office in a 5 star hotel chain for the past 10 years and my expectations are both high and realistic when considering the price paid. When you're paying under $150 you have to be reasonable about your expectations. With that said--

Room was very large, in great condition and very clean. It was well appointed with two queen size beds, large tv, large size couch that pulls out into a full size bed. There was also a decent sized bar fridge and a microwave and tiny coffee maker. The bathroom was clean and newly renovated. At the desk and nightstand there were lots of plugins to use as well as USB outlets. A/C was wonderful.

We had a main floor room that faced the front parking lot but it was quiet and had no issues. We were able to park our vehicle right out the window which was a bonus.

Breakfast in the morning was grab and go due to covid. It wasn't super plentiful but was adequate. If I remember correctly it was a muffin, granola bar, yogurt, orange and a juice box. Coffee was available at the front desk as well.

Communication via email left a LOT to be desired, but the front desk staff at both checkin and checkout (and coffee procurement) were very helpful, professional and friendly. Had a good conversation with the agent at checkout and was super pleased by it.

We literally had no complaints about the hotel while we were there, and since recommended it to my in laws who stayed shortly after we did, and we're set to come back again next week and can't wait to explore the pool this time!

The hotel was clean and the complimentary breakfast had a variety of options.

This hotel has a very nice pool with a lap swim lane, a kid's side, waterslide, and hot tub. I wish it was open sooner in the morning (opens at 9am). The fitness centre is 'open' 24 hours a day, but you need a key from the front desk to access it. I do not like that the cardio equipment faces the pool.

It is a quieter hotel location which was nice. It also has free parking.

My complaint is that this hotel is a bit out of the way and Google maps took us down a gravel road to get there (Armour Road - we didn't know it would be gravel). As a truck was going by on the opposing side, they left us with a MASSIVE stone chip, in our six month old vehicle, which cost over $120 to repair. If you choose this hotel and want to avoid gravel and stone chips, use Ring Road and Pasqua St to get there instead.

Overall, a very nice hotel - well maintained.

We stayed for 7 nights. When you check in the front desk asked you when you want your room cleaned (have to book a time) and if you want to use the hot tub you have to book a time. So we booked both. When the cleaning staff did not show up, we talked to the desk and they indicated that we were classified as a long term stay and they did not have enough staff to clean our room on the days we booked!! So we went all week without the room being cleaned at all or towels changed!! We booked a time for the hot tub and when we went down there, it was out of service!! You would have thought the staff would have known. The internet was also down for the whole week we were there as well.

The cost of the room on the weekend was $25/night higher and they had no staff to clean your room.

Tried to talk to the manager and was told they were not there so got a their business card to follow up with but still got charged for a hotel room with no services.

Would never stay there again.

Dear 295gordons, Thank you for your review. We are very sorry that we failed in meeting your expectations. We are also sorry that we were not able to clean your room during your stay. Our stay service cleaning has been suspended and although we try our best to clean ours stays either every 3 days or upon request, we can understand your frustration. In regards to your other concerns, our hot tub is currently closed for maintenance repairs and we are awaiting supplies to arrive so that it can be repaired. Our internet has not been down as far we know so it is disappointing to hear that you had trouble accessing the service. We do hope that you will consider staying with us again so that can provide you with a superior experience. Comfort Suites Regina Staff & Management

Check in - we could not check in before 4pm. Staff member was rude about it.
Luggage cart - rude staff member told my aunt to go look for it. My aunt couldn't find it. Staff member says, oh it's probably in one of the rooms.
Continental breakfast was as basic as one mini croissant (bite size) or muffin with an apple, chewy bar, and bottled water or coffee. My mother asked if she could get both the mini croissant and muffin, staff member tells her a flat "No, it's either one." (Eye rolling)
Our room was clean, however...we ended having to clean it ourselves. We were there 3 nights, we made our own beds, replaced the garbage bags and needed to ask for towels, cleaning supplies for sink or tub and toilet paper. After all that, staff said they don't clean room due to Covid. Plus they do not clean until 24 hours after check out. We understand the situation, but staff didn't need to be rude. That's why I gave the 1 star. Perhaps they need to learn a little respect, they don't know their guests nor what they may be going through in their lives.

Dear Defender-Vee45, We are very sorry to hear that your stay was less than satisfactory. Due to Covid-19, we have had to make many amendments to our regular hotel offerings including changes to our breakfast bags being offered in the mornings and our daily housekeeping services. We have made the decision to not offering daily service for both your protection and for our staff protection. We are sorry that you are not satisfied with this decision however, we are more than happy to provide any additional amenities at any time for your guest room. Your comments have been shared with our team and we do hope that you will give us another opportunity to provide you with a 5 star experience. Comfort Suites Regina Staff & Management

Great hotel, nice rooms & beds. Free breakfast was better than many other free breakfasts I have had.
The pool & waterslide are a great feature for families, and are extremely well used by many families. They have a hot tub, but it is located in the chaotic pool complex. After a busy day my wife and I thought an evening soak in the hot tub would be a nice finish to our day - WRONG.! Even after 9PM on a Sunday the pool was still filled with about 20 screaming kids.
They need to make the pool area adults only from 9PM to 11PM. If they continue as is nobody but parents with kids will stay here. They also book out meeting rooms for local birthday parties, so even more screaming kids are here, than are actually staying at the hotel.

Stayed here for one night in early July - we travelled as a family of four with two young children. We booked a king suite online and got a rate of less than $100 which was excellent. The bed was really comfortable in the room which is always important and it was also very clean. Pool area was awesome and our kids loved the 40 minute time slot we were able to book into.

We did have a couple of issues. We went to our room after check in and discovered it was an accessible room. No big deal if it was just me, but with little kids a standard shower is more desirable. We informed the front desk about this and they advised us to wait 10 minutes, which we did - only to be informed rather abruptly that there were no other rooms available (I didn’t challenge this, but at the time I didn’t believe a word of it- I felt they couldn’t be bothered to help us).

Aside front this the stay was positive. Convenient location with lots of services nearby.

Easy to find and helpful location as we commuted to Regina Beach each day.

Great fitness room although they don’t supply towels and you need to get key from front desk. There are some old face cloths - some form that you can use in a pinch. Looks out to the pool and water slide that seemed great for families as it was always busy.

Room was comfortable but toilet was dirty when we checked in, hall mirror not cleaned, stain on bed spread (likely eye makeup) and as they are not daily cleaning rooms you need to ask for new towels at front desk. Be sure to pick them up as when we asked for more towels as we left one morning they never came to our room so I went back down that night to get them.

Breakfast was average at best. Had yogurt, toast, an egg omelet, some type of sausage and make your own waffles. Plus toast and muffins. Waffle irons have seen better days. The only fruit options were an apple or orange and one morning there wasn’t any when we got there at 8:30.

Staff not as warm and welcoming as we have experienced at other places we have stayed. Often felt that we were interrupting them.

I traveled there with my family. The room quality was good and we were all happy with that.

The only real complaint we have, and it's a big one, was with noise. The hotel seemed to be chock-full of unsupervised unruly children that really took away enjoyment from other guests.

In the daytime I could hear stomping from the floor above but by night that had subsided. Most of the day I could hear kids sprinting down the hallway outside our room. There wasn't any fire, there's no need for that. Maybe it's something about Regina. I've never had this problem before, and I have stayed in many hotels in my life.

The pool in itself was excellent but once again, ruined by unruly youngsters. We went in around 4:30 pm and there was music playing. I did not mind the music. Kids were high-pitched screaming frequently. We ended up leaving the pool area because of it.

My fiance and I returned to the pool area a little after 8 pm, hoping it would have calmed down. The screaming hellion kids were gone but now there was a group of about 10 teenaged boys who took it upon themselves to make every single other person in the pool area uncomfortable. They were noisy, rude, and roughhousing each other. We picked this hotel mostly because we liked the look of the pool area. Both time we tried to utilize the pool, it was ruined by other guests.

I guess some reading this review might think it is not the hotel's responsibility to pick up the slack for lazy parents. However, the experiences I had will linger in my memory. Next time I am in Regina, I doubt I will stay at this same hotel.

This was our first ever hotel stay with 2 young kids.

Overall the hotel was clean.
Our room had a sticky something on the carpet when we checked in, and tiles in the bathroom were loose and missing. But otherwise clean with no concerns.

Staff were friendly and efficient at check in.

Breakfast was adequate with waffles, toast, cereal, oatmeal, scrambled eggs and sausage patties, yogurt, muffins, and drinks.

There was even a highchair for our 1 year old which was very appreciated.

The pool was a bit chilly, and the water was very cloudy. The air temp in the pool room was cold. The kids had a blast though, and refused to get out despite literally being blue and shivering.

Parking was free

It seems no complimentary wifi, as there was no instruction how to access?

Lots of convenient plugs and usb ports.

The AC fan in our room was extremely loud, and not all that efficient. It worked somewhat, and the room was tolerable, but I'm usually cold, and I had to sleep without blankets. Average outdoor temps during our stay. Not overly hot.

There's a small fridge, microwave and coffee.

We definitely heard kids running and playing down the hallway, but it didn't wake our kids so I don't care.

The bathroom door squeaked so loudly that we couldn't move the door at night or it would wake the kids.

Pillows were good, bed was comfy though with the sagging in the middle, I imagine the mattress was past it's prime.

Overall a good stay
