It was a VERY clean place, the queen bed was comfortable. Great parking. The price is great!! BUT the information about the room is INCLUSIVE, the room information did not indicate the fact that you have to use a common bathroom and shower. No bathroom in the room. It's more like a hostel set-up.

My colleague and I stayed here for a week while working at University of Saskatchewan's campus. We booked a room for two twin beds. When we checked in the service was quick and efficient. The price was the same we agreed upon over the phone. The room is quite tiny (very tiny for two people) but it was clean and came with a TV, closet with dresser, desk, and small night stand between the beds. As long as you expect it to be small (and if you're aware it's a shared bathroom) everything else is quite wonderful. The bathrooms are very clean and the shower head is huge and has great water pressure. It was within walking distance of downtown Saskatoon and the university. It came with complimentary tea and coffee, as well as a full kitchen for you to use. Also comes with washer and dryer. Lis and Andres are both kind and helpful. I enjoyed the stay and would stay again.

Thank you for staying with us! We make a great effort to provide safe, clean, quiet and most affordable rooms for the smart and seasoned traveller in mind! Over the past year we've taken a leap and done a complete renovation. We'll be reopening in June, 2016!! We've gone 'green' using guidelines to allow our guests to leave a small footprint in Saskatoon on their travels. We've added the option of private baths and a yoga room always keeping your health and budget in mind! We hope you will join us and check out the renos when you come to Saskatoon! this is like staying at someone`s home. I found the bed was extremely comfortable which to me is what is important as only sleeping there. The room is very small but has a flat screen tv ample closet and a desk. There is a window that opens but it is has AC so really is comfortable. I loved the view from the kitchen and living room as very large windows.I spent time in the living room as very large and has comfortable leather sofas and chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped and handy to make your own meals or coffee and snacks. The bathrooms are shared but I seemed to be the only one who used the one closest to me.The building is kept very clean although It is showing it`s age as carpets are very worn and smell a little. The cost of the room was reasonable but could still be lower . I was charged what I had been quoted. The location is handy to downtown but parking could be a problem as backs onto a very busy street!I would consider staying here again if needed.

Simple hotel. Parking leaves a lot to be desired and hard to get in and out of the small reception parking lot as you have to back out onto a major road (scary).

Reception was confusing. Trying to check in we were locked outside for 15 mins and ringing the doorbell with no one answering. We had to phone the main number - which was answered by someone who was not in reception (cell maybe?) and then they called someone to let us in.

Room are clean but spartan. Still am confused as to how the bathrooms work - I thought they were private but are not in your room, then I thought that the outside baths were assigned to certain rooms until I found someone in what I thought was my bathroom?

Sure I saved a few bucks staying here over other hotels in the same area - but for the hassle it was not worth it.

Great friendly staff , very accommodating, and clean rooms. Just what I needed when my dog was across at the small animal clinic. Affordable and handy. Also the manager gave me a night's refund when my dog got discharged early. Would definitely recommend .

My friend and I stayed one night. Luckily we didn’t spend much time there as we were at a concert, but the room was tiny and the shared bathroom, and kitchen was awkward. Woke up at 230am to a spider crawling on me. And the headboard had dust as thick as my fingernail

After giving several hours notice that I would be arriving late I was contacted while on the road and told that if I did not arrive before reception closed @ 10 p.m. then I would be out of luck and locked out. I reminded the gentleman that I had already paid for the room and that his reply was the same - arrive before we lock the door or too bad! I managed to arrive before the door was locked and fell in the parking lot which was a sheet of ice that had not been salted or sanded. I was not informed, nor was it on the website, that the room was not an ensuite. I was expected to use a washroom down the hall. I was charged extra for what a hotel room should include. I asked the woman at the desk to look up a restaurant I wanted to go to on this site and instead, while I sat waiting, she was looking-up a restaurant delivery app that they promote and tried to get me to use. I pointed out that I didn't want to waste time downloading an app and registering my credit card etc, when I simply wanted an address so I could get some food. I rushed to get there to check-in at their convenience and they couldn't be less helpful.
The room was not bad but the sink in the bathroom is stylish rather than useful and there is no room to put your supplies on. Also agree with other posters as to the noise of traffic. Also snide remark was made regarding the price that I paid since I booked through hotels.com when I had to pay for "upgrade"

Dear Guest, We offer our opologies and we will look into this matter. We offer late arrival and there are many guests who require this service at no extra cost and are easily accommodated and happy with the service. We will make sure that communication is clear and that this miscommunication does not happen again. We do ask that guests let us know in advance if late check in is required and offer the toll free number to call. This simple procedure helps to avoid last minute misunderstandings. We offer both rooms with ensuite and with private /shared hallway entrance bath for travelers who prefer to pay less for a clean, quiet accommodation. Many travelers who are environmentally conscious choose this option and look for it. The options are clearly marked on all booking sites. We do our best with shoveling, salting and all maintenance. Safely and comfort are a top priority for our guests. We are very sorry for your slipping on the ice. Please accept our apology again for suggesting an easy delivery to enjoy in the warm and safe dining area. After all the challenges you faced this day, our staff hoped you wouldn't have to venture out into the cold facing even more unknown territory. Of course, we are always happy to provide information on the many excellent restaurants in our city. We appreciate our guests and do our best to provide excellent accommodations at most affordable prices.

The rooms were clean and well maintained, but extremely noisy! The walls are paper thin at this facility, and the Inn is literally 25 feet from a major road. I was woken up in the middle of the night by my neighbours cell phone ringing and then a lengthy phone call that ensued. Additionally the rooms are extremely cramped quarters. I suspect that they were trying to cram in as many rooms as was legal.

The second thing that was more than a little irritating was the fact that there were NO bathroom facilities in the room, only a shared 'dorm like' bathroom down the hallway. This was not obvious to me when I booked the room, so it was a complete surprise when we arrived. Neither I or my wife were happy about this.

Third, the first night there was no air conditioning, and the room was excessively hot! Someone must have complained because the next night was much cooler.

Fourth, no shoes are allowed on your feet inside the Inn. This made things a little awkward as the entrance way is very petite and there isn't enough room for two people to pass in the stairway. Try carrying your luggage, a small bag AND your shoes up the stairs!

Fifth, the Inn advertises 'breakfast included' but there were no options other than toast and cereal, and coffee if you wanted to take the time to make it yourself. I have travelled around the world and the places that offer breakfast are MUCH better organised and offer a MUCH more comprehensive selection than this place.

Finally, for the price I was not impressed at all. Full suite hotel rooms in Calgary are available for much less than this, and the sales tax drove the costs even higher. I would highly recommend skipping this facility and go for the Holiday Inn instead. You won't regret the $30 dollar increase.

Dear Guest, I'm happy you noticed how clean the room is. The economy rooms are small and efficient, newly renovated and Eco Friendly. There is a choice for rooms with ensuite bath and you chose the private shared bath. The baths are completely gutted right down to the plumbing which has all been replaced as well. In my experience, dorms do not resemble at all our bathrooms. Our bathrooms are completely private, with granite countertops and full, new, six foot walk in showers. The crystal light fixtures add a touch of class. In my opinion, the shared bath would be similar to what you would expect to find in an upscale bed and breakfast. They are private and have a hallway entrance. We have large triple pane windows and the walls have sound-proofing but unfortunately people who speak loudly and do not consider the time, though rare, can be encountered anywhere. I had a similar experience at a reputable large chain hotel and felt very frustrated so I understand your disappointment very well. I am a light sleeper and while my husband usually sleeps through, I hear every sound on our travels. It is very important to us to have a very peaceful, healthy environment and we will look into ways to continue to improve. Our guests appreciate and comment on our quiet retreat- like atmosphere at The Inn with the subltle scent of Young Living essential oils in diffusers and used for cleaning floors. Finally, I would like to explain why we ask guests to remove their shoes. Shoes carry many dangerous toxins which permeate the air. We have replaced carpets with European Standard Cork based flooring to promote clean air. A large chain hotel would have great difficulty doing this but we are able to do this to promote clean, fresh air for our guests as well as for our workers. It is our intention to promote good health and avoid toxins while at the same time respecting our environment. When people realize the difference a carpet free environment makes, they often begin to look for these benefits and are eager to partake in promoting a healthy environment. We provide slippers on request for comfort and find that many guests bring their own 'travel slippers'. I'm always amazed by our savvy travel guests! We continue to do our best to improve as we strive to provide an exceptionally clean and fresh stay to our guests from around the world. Best wishes and happy travels!

Excellent beds, very clean and fresh rooms, great desks/lighting for studying, bathrooms were immaculately clean at all times, really nice showers, kitchen was well equipped - I cooked full meals there and enjoyed having dinner at their dining table with a view of the university, cozy TV room, breakfast included, It is a really great place to stay in Saskatoon. The only thing I'd say is the doors were light wooden doors like in a home and let noise and light in.
