Great friendly staff , very accommodating, and clean rooms. Just what I needed when my dog was across at the small animal clinic. Affordable and handy. Also the manager gave me a night's refund when my dog got discharged early. Would definitely recommend .
My friend and I stayed one night. Luckily we didn’t spend much time there as we were at a concert, but the room was tiny and the shared bathroom, and kitchen was awkward. Woke up at 230am to a spider crawling on me. And the headboard had dust as thick as my fingernail
Simple hotel. Parking leaves a lot to be desired and hard to get in and out of the small reception parking lot as you have to back out onto a major road (scary). Reception was confusing. Trying to check in we were locked outside for 15 mins and ringing the doorbell with no one answering. We had to phone the main number - which was answered by someone who was not in reception (cell maybe?) and then they called someone to let us in. Room are clean but spartan. Still am confused as to how the bathrooms work - I thought they were private but are not in your room, then I thought that the outside baths were assigned to certain rooms until I found someone in what I thought was my bathroom? Sure I saved a few bucks staying here over other hotels in the same area - but for the hassle it was not worth it.…
My wife and I stayed here a number of times while visiting a relative who was in Royal University Hospital. Great value for the price paid and within easy walking distance of RUH (5 minutes). The rooms were small for two people but very clean and modern. The bathroom that we shared with other patrons was quite large and there was rarely a problem with it being occupied. We also had access to other shared bathrooms. The experience was more 'European' but enjoyable and certainly not an issue for us. The rooms were quiet and you have the choice of staying upstairs or downstairs. Outside shoes are to be left at the entrance door. There are two large, bright kitchens--one on each floor--allowing you to cook your own meals (to save on food costs). Guests are provided with a continental breakfast with your choice of toast, bagel, or muffin, together with a fruit and a small juice box. Parking is free and convenient (both behind and in front of the building). Located near Ronald McDonald House and within walking distance of Alexander's restaurant on College (10 min). Downtown Saskatoon is across the river and easily accessed via University Bridge, and there is a pleasant view of College Drive, the bridge, and the river from the kitchen/lounge areas on the top floor. Staff are personable, professional, and friendly. Highly recommended for anyone on a budget who needs easy walking access to RUH or the University of Saskatchewan. We will certainly stay here again.…
Good stay at prime downtown location, although I have reserved a room upstairs got a basement room. Needs prior call to confirm booking upstairs. Bed and very basic breakfast. Nice and clean. Price and value wise option. There is TV but no Wi-Fi.
My husband and I needed a place to spend the night when we moved from outside of Saskatchewan and this place was cheap so we chose it. But cheap doesn’t mean it wasn’t excellent! Friendly people, clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend it.
Place is clean, you feel at home, they are very organized, staff and management are friendly. They have followed my request of room with a nice view. Bathroom are also clean. The receiving are and dining / kitchen are neat too. Parking is great as well. Anytime you call them they would easily answer and make you fell comfortable. Thank you for making our 1st visit to Saskatoon memorable. Salamat and God bless
The Inn on College is a fantastic place to stay when you just want a clean room and friendly staff. None of that hotel breakfast fare and no pool. This place only has about 6 rooms and is right across from the university close to downtown. Not all rooms have their own bathroom however ours did and let me tell you it was CLEAN! It has a shared small kitchen dining area and a cosy sitting area. I would recommend this place to anyone that isn’t travelling with small children. It is very well managed and worth the stay.
This little converted house is fantastic, boasting around a dozen rooms. It's super clean, very quiet, bright and modern. Run by a husband and wife team, you're made to feel welcome. Continental breakfast is available, as is laundry service and a common kitchen/TV room. Washrooms are shared also but don't be put off, this place is very quaint. I stay there every year with my show Crew (exhibitors at the Saskatoon Exhibition) and they all love it. It's also nice and close to downtown and all amenities.
I needed a place close to the hospital and this place fit the bill. I was expecting hotel-style accommodations considering the price, but it was more of a B&B. The rooms are small, but very clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Overall, it was a good stay.
