This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed here, both on long weekends with my two boys. This is probably a good choice if you don’t mind screaming toddlers running up and down the hall, and in the pool area. When we checked in, there was a small child’s birthday party in the pool (same as last time) which cancelled out going to the pool with my kids because it was far too busy and loud. The pool area is fairly small and lacks seating if you’re a parent just looking to chill while your kids enjoy the mayhem (which they didn’t).

The room was uncomfortably warm when we returned from the pool and went to bed. I turned the fan on to “cool” and set my desired temperature. We all woke up in the middle of the night sweating because of the heat :/. It took forever to get it to a cool enough temp to fall back to sleep

Breakfast spread was decent, though the pancake maker was empty when my son went to use it and they never refilled it (this was about 9:45, b’fast goes til 10).

Needless to say, price was right but not worth it.

Hi Saskachris, Thank you for taking the time to leave us some detailed feedback on your recent stay. You are correct the long weekend was very busy and regularly these weekends tend to bring a ton of families to our hotel to stay, if you are looking for a quieter time, week nights are usually a bit calmer, and you can always ask the agent while booking what is going on at the hotel during your stay. We want you to have the experience you are looking for and our agents will be able to help you to understand what kind of room should be booked and what day works best! We appreciate your feedback regarding heat, this is something we will have our maintenance department look at and fix. Overall we are really sorry to hear you did not have the experience you had hoped for and we will take your comments forward to our team to see how me may improve.

Amazing and accommodating staff! Each one of the staff I interacted with was friendly and smiling. My wife and I booked the jacuzzi suite and it was roomy and well laid out! One tip would be to include some bubble bath :)

The few "negatives" are.... was 8/10 clean but overall nothing to complain about and bath robes were missing which they provided promptly when asked. I do wish a later checkout could have been accommodated (they did provide noon checkout) but hotel was packed so understandable.

The staff checked in daily via text which was a first for us and great touch. Definitely will stay again if in Saskatoon and would recommend!!

Thankyou for such positive feedback. We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay with us. I apologize that the bathrobes were missing to begin with but glad we provided them to you. I appreciate you understanding about the late checkout as it totally depends on the occupancy of the hotel and we try our level best to accomodate the needs of all our guest to the best we can. We will definetly think about adding bubble bath for our Jacuzzi suites as it seems a good idea.Thankyou for appreciating all our efforts and we hope to welcome you back.

We booked a night during the family day long weekend solely to use the pool and water slide. First impressions the hotel was clean. Jenn was probably one of the nicest front desk staff we’ve even come across. We booked a ‘Family Room’ for our family of 5. The bathroom was a bit small. The sink was located outside which seemed a little weird at first, but worked out better in the end. The sinks are a bit high for young children. The pool was nice, not terribly deep (4 feet at the most) which was prefect for our kids. The water slide ended in a trough which was also great! With covid regulations we needed to book times which we expected. In our case there was only one other family each time we booked. That made for a better swim as there was never a wait for the water slide and the pool was not crowded. There is a decent size hot tub overlooking the pool area. We will definitely be back again

A positive experience on the whole. Breakfasts were very good -selection was larger than most other places on my trip. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean. Staff was helpful. Appreciated the gym was available 24/7 and the close proximity to restaurants, but yet is a very quiet location. Price was good. Only negative was that the hot tub wasn't working.

The only reason I am giving the hotel 3 stars is because our sleep quality was terrible. It was so HOT in our room it was just about unbearable. It was 24C and we had the AC on and opened the window. (-20 outside)
At 8:30 there was only bread for toast left for the complimentary breakfast. Which was disappointing.
But on a positive the staff was really friendly. They were really good about us changing our check-in time to 2:30.
The rooms were clean and the lounge chair we had was so comfortable. Bonus!!!
We would give them another chance for sure.

Thankyou for leaving the feedback. I am sorry about the room being so hot. As you did brought it to the attention of front desk agent our maintenance was able to check it. He did had to reset it and we have also reduced the temperature in the hallways. I am little surprised about the breakfast as we do have a decent variety for breakfast. We had choices of meats(there was bacon and sausage patties ), egg patties, boiled eggs, pancakes, bread ,yoghurt, juice, coffee ,cereal and fruits. I will look into the breakfast closely as to my knowledge we did not run out of any items before the closing time. I will talk to the breakfast attendant about the feedback to make sure they are more careful and checking regularly. Thankyou for the positive feedback about the staff and yes we try our best to acknowledge special request . I am happy to know the room was clean and comfortable. We will be very happy to have you back at our hotel.

We stayed at the Home Inn & Suites for one night while driving across Canada. The hotel is ideally situated just off of the Trans Canada Highway and right next to several restaurants and shopping areas which was very convenient. It is a pet friendly hotel.
The room was well appointed and modern. The breakfast was very good too. There is a pool with a hot tub which was nice and relaxing after a long day of driving.

This is a gross hotel. For a new and nice area of Saskatoon, I was so very disappointed. The area feels safe and the parking is fine, but the hotel is dirty and not well kept. The pool is super gross. The water is cloudy, it had clumps of hair and things on the bottom. Scum line around whole pool not scrubbed. This nasty tire materials in clumps between two areas of pools, and completely filthy bathrooms in the pool area. No towels to be found and the phone in the pool to call front desk for more towels didn’t work. When I finally did get towels, my husband pointed out a crimson blotch on the towel that certainly wasn’t from me. Just so disgusting. Our room was super gross too. The walls had random splats and smears. Side of the padded bed frame had drips. Just gag. Crumbs in the bed. Nerd and gummy candies clearly on the unvacuumed floor. The bed pad under the sheets and the duvet between flat sheets also had dirty blob marks on it. I wished we hadn’t had to stay and it was super gross. I would never ever go there again with my family.

I had to book rooms for my board members for a meeting in town, and the staff was so competent and professional it was a breeze! I had to change the details of the reservations a couple of times, and they were always able to accommodate me; nothing got mixed up, and everything went off without a hitch! I am so grateful to the staff for being so helpful and professional!

We went there for a staycation. The hotel is okay, but it is very worn for a hotel of its age.
Our room was not well maintained at all. There was dirty duck tape holding the cover onto the heating unit, there was sludge behind the bathroom door, and there was something that looked like v9mit or food on the wall behind the trash can.
We swam on day 2 and the pool was pretty gross. The water was murky and gritty. It seemed like the pool hadn't been cleaned in ages and it stunk.
They had a policy of 11 people at a time in the pool area due to covid, but it was crowded and impossible to keep your distance.
When we went to check out a while later, there was no one to be seen. We waited for,ten minutes and then just dropped our keys
