A great spot for those looking to get off the beaten path without needing to travel far outside of Whitehorse. Little Atlin Lodge is extremely easy to get to yet still allows you to feel as though you have the natural beauty of the area all to yourself. Plenty of activities to

Thank you so much for your excellent feedback; it was a pleasure having you! Our location is indeed ideal for people on a business trip to Whitehorse who are looking to add a few days to experience the Yukon. As Little Atlin Lodge's rack card says: "Easy to reach, hard to leave".

For us this was the best of both worlds: an experience of life on a homestead in the Yukon wilderness, but with all the mod cons of heating, lighting and running water (we loved lighting the old-fashioned gas lamps every night!). We recommend that you buy Terry Milos's book

Thank you for your lovely review! "The best of both worlds" pointed out by you matches our own short description of Little Atlin Lodge: "comfortable living in a natural setting". We are glad to learn that you enjoyed your experience with us and different activities that are easily accessible - including the read of Terry Milos's book. It would be nice to host you again!

After touring around the Yukon for 2 wks, we ended our trip with 2 relaxing and recharging nights at Little Atlin Lodge. Clean, cozy and uncluttered pine cabin with everything you need. I'm a bit OCD about organization and cleanliness, so trust me when I say, this cabin

Thank you so much for describing your stay with us for potential future guests: it helps their imagination a lot! Your note regarding grocery shopping is valuable, too. We love to hear that you had a relaxing stay and look forward to having you again! By the way: the lake should be fine for swimming really soon, around mid July, as long as 20 degrees Celsius is warm enough for you - refreshing on a hot day for sure!

A service animal is welcome for sure; she/he needs to stay away from bedrooms, sofas and carpets, and you will need to pick up after her/him on lodge grounds. Rental car location is Whitehorse, one hour from the lodge. With a rental car you can do many excursions in all directions on your own. If you don't rent a car, you can hire our service to pick you up and do excursions. No meals included; you will have a well equipped kitchen and a BBQ grill to prepare your meals. The closest restaurant is 10 min. away at Jake's Corner on the Alaska Highway. It is closed right now, but should reopen soon. The next closest restaurant is located in Tagish, 25 min. from the lodge, open in the summer. Thanks.
