The Coast was the place to be during the start of the Yukon Quest. So it was fun talking to the organizers and participants and vets all of whom seemed to be milling around the lobby at all hours. Also, many ultra marathoners were also there for their event too. So it was very international and people were happy to...

Need more servers for the restaurant during busy times. Food was good. Rooms were small but clean & well kept. Juel & Nicole are outstanding! Parking lot is small. Convenient to Yukon Convention and a short distance to Main Street.

Hi Leoz158, Thank you for your kind comments. Yes, we are conveniently located within easy walking to downtown, but we are also away from the noise. Hope you enjoyed your Quest experience. Looking forward to seeing you again.

The front desk staff were very helpful, kind and proactive. When we ate at the deck all the servers were great and the food was quite delicious. I liked the steak sandwich. Our room was in fair shape considering the wear and tear a northern property must see. Even though it was cold outside the room held a good temperature...

Dear Angela, We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us! Since you experienced our coldest (-30C) and warmest (-2C) temperatures during your stay, we are happy that our heating system met your needs. And our beds? What can I say? We are well known for them! Come back soon, our doors are always open for another...

The Coast High Country Inn is the place to stay when visiting Whitehorse. The staff is first class with a level of service the is second to none. Great location, just a few blocks from the downtown strip and basically attached to the convention center.

Rooms are clean and fairly modern. Staff were friendly prompt and great. Tips: Restaurant does not open until 7:00 AM. You need your key card to go up in the elevator so keep it handy. A bit of a walk to Main street, but this is only a problem when it is -30° C

Hi danielhG1746QO! Only -30? That is practically bikini weather for Whitehorse in the winter! :). Certainly not for the faint of heart, glad to hear you braved the cold to take in the sights and amenities of our Downtown area. Our elevators require the use of a key card for the security of our guests. You never know who might...

Overpriced. Mechanical whine from the fridge sounded like a fire alarm going off in another room. Figured out here sound was coming from at 4am and unplugged. Fit and finish in the room was defiantly not that of a $225 a night royal suite. Menu to restaurant was mostly blacked out. Breakfast choices minimal.

Basic clean rooms with comfortable beds. The staff was very helpful. Unfortunately shower had very low pressure and took ages till water got more or less warm to take a shower. Breakfast at the restaurant was way too pricey and not so good.On the bright side hotel is good located within walking distance to the town centre and some restaurants...

Greetings Olya P! Glad you found our beds comfortable, we hear this often. :) Thank you for letting us know about the shower water pressure. A couple of Maintenance staff noticed the fluctuations back in August when you were here, and have fixed the issue.

I stayed at this hotel overnight while passing through Whitehorse, the staff were friendly and the room was amazing! Thank you Coast hotel for a great stay in Whitehorse! The only negatives were from the restaurant not having everything available from their menu.

Clean, bright and ambience friendly for family/couple or adventure tourists. They have it all. Loved the restaurant as well. We were there over Christmas. But they kept most of their services on, we did not feel a single problem. Would highly recommend to take their services.

Always worth a stay! The service is fantastic at both the front counter and the restaurant. Group receptions are handled very nicely as well. The deck has a remarkable atmosphere also. A 3 star hotel with 5 star service!
