Recently stayed at this hotel for a few nights. All in all it was pretty decent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. Overall the hotel could use some upgrades as some of the spaced seem a bit dated. It is conveniently located.

The first time I visited this hotel was almost 20 years ago, and I've stayed there now on four separate occasions over the years. Not because it's the best or anything, but because I stay in so many different places that I tend to forget which ones are great, and which ones are just mediocre. This one is definitely mediocre....

Dear Brad D, Thank you for reviewing our hotel. Glad you had a comfortable stay, and found the staff friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we have had territory wide internet issues since the fiber optic cable was cut not once but twice in the last month. We are working hard to improve our service.

Was pleased with stay at the Coast Hotel. Accomodating front desk staff and friendly atmosphere. Decent room with comfy bed and linens, shampoos etc The restaurant conveniently located on the first level offered a full breakfast menu. The bar/patio restaurant offered up a casual menu and the deck was nice to relax with a beer.

Dear WilliamcX3319UR, Thank you so much for your review. I am glad that your overall experience was good. We are looking into the issues we have been experiencing with our internet service since the massive outage across the North a couple of weeks ago. We hope to have it resolved very soon.

Friendly & helpful staff, good restaurant but the bathroom & shower were too small for an average sized person & the bedroom smaller than usual for Coast Hotels & too warm requiring that we keep a noisy fan going. The cost was pricey for such a small room.

I am in Whitehorse on an approximate 6 week work stint. Due to a large softball tournament, rooms and vehicles are very scarce. My office booked me at a local dive on Jarvis Street...Please feel free to see that review. After two sleepless nights, two of our upper management people, mentioned they both had stayed at the High Country. They...

Dear Allen R, It is our pleasure to have you as our guest. Rest well, and rest assured that as the leaves are turning colors, winter is just around the corner and there will soon be no need for air conditioning. In the meantime we will have our fabulous maintenance team look at yours. Enjoy the rest of your stay...

The High Country Inn is my hotel of choice in Whitehorse. It offers clean, well-appointed rooms and excellent courteous service for only marginally more than you would pay for a far less professional and "tired" hotel. They offer a free shuttle from and back to the airport, which adds to their good value. The hotel is quiet both inside and...

Ideally located for SS Klondike, this hotel has excellent reception staff who are chatty and helpful to ALL their guests. Rooms very clean and comfortable; ours had a fan in during hot weather without having to ask. Good facilities in room, but no aircon (I'm guessing there's not many days per year you'd need it this far north). Restaurant had...

Hi Toloco98, Thank you so much for your great review. And yes, air conditioning is not often necessary here in the North, but I am happy to tell you that as part of our ongoing upgrades, we will be doubling our air conditioning rooms over the next few month. Hope to see you again.

We spent two nights here and had been booked into a superior room. We were allocated room 208. The room itself looked as though it had been updated and was a reasonable size. However, when we opened the curtains we found we were looking at the kitchen venting system, immediately outside the window. This is not what we expect from...

Great hotel to rest overnight while travelling the Alaska highway. Just finished 14 hours on the road, and a great night's sleep, with a great shower is recuperative for the next day's, 10 hours driving.
