Although popular with European travelers seeking a Yukon wilderness experience, more and more guests are from the Yukon as word spreads about this beautiful "off the grid" retreat. Hikers, Mountain Bikers, X-country skiers and ATV/Snow-machiners will all love this setting and location. We rented the River Cabin for 2 nights and it was perfect as a base for day trips...

This wilderness retreat offers several different properties. We stayed in the River Cabin September 27-29, and had a splendid time. The location is beautiful, the wood is plentiful, the breakfasts are terrific, and the hosts are welcoming. I would recommend this place highly. The only quibble is that it is not a great place for anyone who has mobility issues....

We stayed there twice already and loved it. In december 2014 and december 2015, both times were awesome. The cabin hides further back from the main house and is only accessible by foot. Even in the cold winter days you can keep the cabin warm enough with the wood stove there. The layout is perfect with a separate bedroom and...

Staying at Wheaton River was a wonderful experience as Carmen and her family were amazing hosts. They made us feel very welcome from the time we arrived, even carrying our bags to the cabin as we explored their property. The cabin we stayed in was immaculate and Carmen had laid out little chocolates on each of our pillows. The craftsmanship...

This was by far one of the best experiences we've had in remote accommodation. The cabin we stayed in was recently built, and was furnished beautifully with candelabras and even Christmas decorations for our stay over the Christmas period! The hosts made sure we always had enough chopped wood, drinking water, and their children even made us German Christmas cookies!...

We (2 couples + 1 baby) spend in total 4 nights at Carmen and Roberts place close to Anni lake and were hosted in a very cozy, wooden cabin embedded between mountains. If you like pure nature, silence, and the simple life than this is the place you want to go. You've got all you need but not to much:...

We've visited this cabin twice over the past 3 years and love it. Carmen is a kind host who welcomes you to the accommodation and then leaves you to have serene privacy. The cabin is spotless and the beds are very comfortable. Everything has been thought of in this cabin. The location is absolutely gorgeous. I fully recommend this place...

We actually spent four weeks in the area, and almost half of the time in this beautiful cabin. It is absolutely charming, and the hosts are just wonderful. If you love being outdoors, it's the place to go. There is no hot water - unless you make a fire in the stove, and bring it to a broil. There is...
