Detailed Reviews
I stayed at the Raven Hotel last week and was very impressed. From check in to check out the Raven Inn's staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. The hotel has a chic and warm atmosphere and is conveniently located, especially for those who want to explore Whitehorse by foot. It was extremely clean. The protocols in place to address sanitation and physical distancing really assured me that visitor and staff safety was a top priority for them. My room was a home away from home with all of the amenities I could ask for - including an extremely comfortable bed! My only regret was that I wasn't able to stay longer, but I will definitely plan to come back again!

Amazing. New! Very sleek and modern rooms. I called to book my room and the hotel staff were very accommodating as I had to come after their desk hours were done. There was a welcome letter waiting for me on my arrival. The room was clean and impressive. No extra charge for the dog. They emailed me all the codes to get in. Located in a beautiful and convenient area of the city. Beds comfortable. The room makes you feel special and the treatment by staff is by far the most inviting I have seen. So many personal touches. I wish I could stay longer. They have a Yukoner rate. Nicest place to stay in Whitehorse by far. I will be back another time where I can hang out in the lounge.

Very clean hotel and very friendly front desk staffs. The bed is very comfortable, and the location is great, A machine of Nespresso and a tiny fridge. HOWEVER, very pricy and the rates vary depending on the demand for example we stayed 4 nights each has different rate!!!!! No special rate for Gov agencies except the RCMP and people from Yukon itself according to the front desk. They provide you with codes written on a card by hand to enter the elevator, the main door after 11 and also your room, no key card! So you have to have this card in and out or a photo of it! Bathroom doesn't have but 2 loafs of soap 1inX1in each, no Shampoo, no conditioner nor body wash!!! No Microwave!!!

4 adults. Stayed in their 2 bedroom, 2 full bath suite 502 for a week while in Whitehorse for a family wedding June 26 -July 3. The beds, pillows & linens were luxurious and we all had very comfortable sleeps. There were wall mounted body scrub, shampoo & cream rinse in the showers and while I cannot recall the brand, it was VERY nice product!!! Room was cleaned upon request and it was so lovely to come back to after a long day out exploring. House cleaning paid attention to detail. I found all of the staff to be very friendly and hospitable. Shout out to the young gentleman (Alkwin??) I chatted with one morning working front desk and to the lovely young lady who delivered our breakfasts most mornings. (Koran sp?) We ordered room service for breakfast most days which was nice to have in the privacy of our own space. Breakfasts were both delicious and plentiful. They gave complimentary sourdough starter with instructions to those that requested it (delicious sourdough bread/waffles in house) and I actually just finished baking a few loaves tonight! can't wait to try it.
If management is reading this... a few recommendations I have to elevate ones stay even more, would be to add room darkening curtains in the bedrooms (could help keep suite cooler in summer/warmer in winter months also) but mainly our only complaint were the bedrooms were still too bright with only the blinds during this time of year. A proper harvest table would soften the look of the suite, along with an area rug in living room area. A supply of Salt & Pepper & Olive Oil in the full otherwise well equipped kitchen would also have been appreciated. We did have it supplied when requested, so this is not a complaint :- )
I would not hesitate to recommend Raven Inn and would most certainly stay again if back in whitehorse for another occasion.
ps. my sister and her family also stayed on the 5th floor in a 2 bedroom suite and like us, they really enjoyed their stay at the Raven Inn as well.
Until next time,
Cheers from Ontario!

Hi Justlyn, Thank you for the amazing review. We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay and appreciated our hotel amenities and staff's customer service. We will surely pass on your kind words to Alwin and Kiran. We are lucky to have them on our team. We truly value your feedback on the room darkening blinds. We are actively working on improvements, and the installation of the shower soap dispensers was a recent addition based on valuable feedback from our guests. We are happy to know that you liked the shower products. We believe in continuous learning, and constructive feedback like yours helps us to improve our services. We hope to welcome you back soon. Best regards,

Very modern spacious rooms hotel in the heart of Whitehorse. We were welcomed by the very accommodating Roger that provided us with a huge suite on the 5 floor, we had FREE access to laundromat and excellent breakfast. The only issue in this hotel is that it has only one elevator. Still good hotel

Because this business has permanent residents as well as the hotel there are security codes for entering the building after hours, entering the elevator and for each individual room. The hotel rooms are very modern re colour of walls & decorating also very clean. We stayed there twice over 5 days in 2 different rooms. The second room faced the construction site next door but it wasn't particularly noisy. Location of the hotel was ideal for seeing the attractions in Whitehorse.

We stayed three days in a suite and had a great time. Perfect location downtown, across the road from a mall and right next to the river. Staff were super helpful, the rooms were clean, neat and tidy, showers hot and a comfortable warm bed. The restaurant on site was delicious and room service offered a large selection. We didn’t have a car and we were able to walk to all the sites and shopping in Whitehorse from this hotel.

My husband and I stayed in the Raven Inn one night on the way to Dawson City and because we were so disappointed in the room and knew we were returning for three nights desperately tried to get the room upgraded which we would have paid for but found the reception unhelpful.
The property appears to be reasonably new but clearly built with the idea of getting as many people into it as possible. Very strange layout.Wash hand basin in bedroom. Bath with overhead shower with shower curtain and toilet in very small room. The bed was clean and comfortable but the blinds did not block out the light. The air conditioning is a portable unit that is vented through the window which was so noisy we could not have it on at night. There was no house keeping the whole time we were there. We had exactly the same room for the three nights as we had for the one night.
. I can only assume by some of the positive reviews that the rooms on the upper floors are much better

Hi Barbara, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Our front desk staff always strive to provide the best assistance to all our guests. On the day of your stay, we were fully booked, so unfortunately, we could not accommodate any changes to your reservation, even if you wanted to pay. Since your reservation was made through a third party, any changes must be communicated to us by them. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the blinds and portable unit noise. Our housekeeping staff were available throughout your stay. If a "Make My Room" sign is displayed, our housekeeping team will address it. Additionally, you could have contacted the front desk for any housekeeping requests. All the rooms at the Raven Inn are designed for comfort, though individual preferences can vary. We hope to welcome you back and provide an even better experience in the future.

Spacious, clean, and comfortable room. The bed and pillows were excellent and there was a nespresso coffee machine which was very nice. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant within the hotel served a great meal and it was nice to have this right on site. The location of the hotel is also great - across the street is a lovely glass blowing studio with another sweet eating spot attached. It is walking distance to a grocery store if you need some supplies. I was very impressed and will return to this hotel.

We stayed at the Ravens Inn for a few days while we waited for the birth of our first born son. We stayed in the one bedroom suite which was pretty nice.
The only thing I would say -which I say about 98% of the places I’ve stayed at- is the bed was a bit hard for my liking.
Aside from that it was a great place to relax and eat food that didn’t arrive in a plastic container.
I would definitely recommend the suite and hotel to anyone who wants a bit better than average when it comes to accommodations in Whitehorse.

There is a restaurant in the hotel where we got tea n coffee but have to pay. Breaky not included. We got food from grocery store as had a kitchenette. Think menu with prices online.
