A basic RV park. Have to use dump station. Convenient to Alaska Highway with related noise. Price is high for what you get but in general Whitehorse has high RV park prices. A little ways out of Whitehorse. Decent restaurant nearby. They have an RV wash but it was not operational.

Property's Favourite Review
I was able to book in next to my friend and his family travelling through…too many to fit in my condo! We had a wonderful time…and a lovely little camp fire! I live in Whitehorse…but I always drive out to use Caribou RV’s sani dump and water services…reasonably priced…and the owners are always friendly and helpful!

Nice campground, bathrooms were large and clean. We did order Bakery items and they were delivered at eight a m the next morning very good. We are traveling in a 44' 5th wheel and they did have a couple spaces large enough for us. Quite a few shaded spots at this campground.

Caribou RV park has everything a camper needs. Whether you are in a tent, bicycle, motor home or motorcycle! Easy check in, quiet, very clean bathrooms, laundry facilities, a deck to hang out on with tables, chairs, great music and a cooler to keep you beer cold! Their camp store has an unbelievable stock of supplies! But the best part of Caribou are the owners!! Sandra and Steve are helpful, kind, friendly, and informative. Steve is excellent at getting you out of a snow drift if you get stuck. When in Whitehorse, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

We only stayed here 1 night but what a gem of a place. It has a great shop with home made jams & cakes, souvenirs &anything else you may have forgotten along the way. It has a great laundry set up with washers & dryers +sinks. They have different sized sites for your vans or pull thru’s.

Traveling the ALCAN in an RV during early spring can be challenging with weather and finding RV parks. While we were grateful to get off the road we were disappointed in the cleanliness of the park and facilities, plus it was the only park on our entire trip that charged full price for just electric at the site. Spring is messy in Canada and Alaska but there are controllable things like clean bathrooms, garbage from full time residents and having sites free of dog poop! Yes our site was littered with dog poop from the winter and now mushy from the melt. Full timers not picking up after their dog and trash. Completely unacceptable!!!! The dirty floors in the bathrooms are expected in spring but dirty toilets and sinks are an easy fix. We will find another park on our next trip.

Hello AkDod. Sorry to hear that your experience wasn’t pleasant. Unfortunately handling the snowmelt is very challenging every year. I can say though that the the 4 winter long termers that stay until end of this month (winter extended stay is October-April) did never spoil the bathrooms and yes the janitorial lady confirmed the day you stayed that they were in a bad shape and after looking at the access logs it was by through travelers. They were cleaned and sanitized after as they are every day. Sorry you passed after such an unclean and disrespectful person. For what you qualify as dog poop is mostly fox and wolf poop. We have a pack that goes through the park nearly nightly at the moment, propably you heard them howl. When they poop to mark in the winter while it snows it only appears during the melting week which is the week in which you stayed. All our efforts to clean this up every day as soon as it appears in a rapid snow melt are still hard to handle. As we are the only RV Park and campground open in the Yukon, we decided to open year round so that people travelling north have at least one place to stay overnight. I hope you do appreciate that service. The wildernesses is way different than rural life and wildlife is not always a pleasant part of it, like wildlife poop. (moose poop is even way sketchier to pickup) For the price you paid, do not forget that these are Canadian dollars so you see that the price is way way lower than the average park in the US would charge. In addition to this the sani dump is open(by the way we have no sewer on the sites) and there is a central drinking water filling station for your RV. So the only thing that wasn’t operational was the water on your site as the ground is still frozen. We will try I promise to do better next year during melting week. Best regards

This was our first-ever experience with an RV park and it was really good. We stayed twice - one night northbound and then southbound. The spaces for RVs are a mix of being in an open space (pretty close together) and spots among trees (which maybe aren't the 30 amp service we were looking for?). The spots in the trees were nicer and had a bit more privacy. The showers were great: clean, not busy (granted we were travelling in September), and lots of hot water. There are clean laundry facilities as well. You can pre-order great bread and pastries from a local bakery and have them delivered first thing in the morning. So tasty! There wasn't much noise from the highway and there's a good restaurant right next door where we ate one night for a change from camper meals ha ha. The RV park owners were friendly and offer a store with quite the range of products and food! I'd recommend Caribou Park to any RVers staying in the Whitehorse area.

This RV Park has everything you need - electric, water, laundry, firepits, a store and restaurant nearby (where you can also buy wine, a plus for us!), WiFi, firewood for sale, hot showers, a car wash, and most importantly, incredibly gracious and giving hosts who are travelers as well and want you to have a wonderful stay. Thank you for having us! Nolan & Grace

Great campsite. We stayed 2 nights and wished we stayed longer. Big campsites, clean restrooms and easy access from the highway. Friendly staff, nice little store and good wifi, which was free. Easy access to the dump station. We would definitely stay here again

Change in plans got us there a day earlier but no problems, they adjusted our reservation. Campgrounds were clean and well spaced. Showers were fantastic! Would stay there again and strongly recommend
