We visited the Yukon during the Pandemic. Steven and his team were very accommodating! Due to a change in rules as to who was allowed into Yukon wee had to change our plans at the last minute. Steven and his team were very accommodating. Steven and the other full time residents were amazing and very helpful during our self isolation. The park was very clean and the fresh bread was amazing. We would definitely be back!

SANDRA and STEVE are amazing hosts. They make sure you are comfortable and are available for whatever you need. They are cheerful and help you out, are kind and generous and make you feel like you are at home. I rented the private suite and loved it. It was cute, comfy and clean. The bathroom was spotless and allocated only to me. The quarantine setup was very thorough. Sanitizer, wipes in the hallway and in the laundry room, the office. Thank you for welcoming me back home. 2 thumbs up!!

Super nice owners (also gave us a few great hints where to go in town). Good campground - they always seek to improve things there. Best washroom we had so far on our travels in Canada. It's a private bathroom - just like at home, even heated. Free hot showers. $2 laundry and $3 dryer. And best of all: bakery service! You can order bread and baked goodies to have it delivered the next morning. Made us feel a little bit like home. Thank you!

We had booked this place for tenting while touring etc of the Yukon . The place is very rustic and does need some work as in upgrading to the tenting areas and better marking of the campsites . The outdoors toilets were not ever cleaned while we were . The owners are very nice and very helpful . They have a tiny store front , laundry facilities and showers plus bathrooms. We did enjoy our stay but was not fond of all the screaming going after quiet time the last few night we were there . Other than that it was a okay place to stay and tent out . Sandra who is a chef as well made some wonderful full course meals at the restaurant on the premises . If anyone bets to try her cooking that is a must . She can cook beautifully prepared entrees to desserts . Wonderful owners thanks Steve and Sandra

Hello Mary, Thank you for your review. I would like to give some feedback because I do not agree with certain points. When you say the place is very rustic I can't agree as everything was renewed last year and all the other guests enjoy the renovations as you can read in all the reviews. We have some places that are rustic because we try to keep historic sites like Joe's cabin with artifacts from the Gold Rush or our antiquities part with old artifacts of the past that we bought to showcase. The tent sites are well marked with separation stones and numbers I handcrafted with love last year. By the way, you took the wrong site as you remember and later I said it was ok after your tent was installed, but this site is a motorhome unserviced site. These are of course only demarked by the trees as they are primarily thought to be used by small motorhomes, but perhaps you didn't know this. We try to keep our tent sites as simple as possible so people get the camping experience they are looking for. The tent sites are like the ones in governmental campgrounds but with us you get the amenities of nicely renewed showers and toilets, laundry, high-speed wifi, grocery store, fresh baked goods on delivery, firewood delivery to your site and all other services which made us get the travellers choice award by TripAdvisor and even be nominated for one of the best campgrounds in Canada. For the screaming, I do apologize, but I didn't hear anything neither did the other campground guests when I asked. I always intervene and I am not afraid of taking adapted measures to handle noise after quiet hours. But I have to admit that this year I was a little bit more indulgent on weekends as in COVID times people were just happy to gather again with their family bubble and have some good times while camping. The outdoor toilets you are referring to are outhouses, and yes they were cleaned and even after you told me they were dirty I went immediately to clean them and to be honest I have seen worse. But outhouses will stay outhouses and you will always see down the drain. Because of the low occupancy this year we strongly recommended using our renovated bathrooms that are cleaned and sanitized multiple times a day and not the outhouses which I told you a few times. And I am sorry we had to blame you and take adapted measures as you ran into a reserved bathroom with a giant "do strictly not enter" sign saying this was reserved for a person in self-isolation. By the way, the person finished self-isolation and is fine. Thanks for telling us that you got tested within a few hours to confirm all was alright. As you left later without saying goodbye and without taking your bread order, which usually we ask people to pay upfront but we didn't ask you to do, I was more than sure you were upset because of the blame. We had to eat a lot of bread. But as you gave us 4 stars and wrote us an email you had a great time and had to leave suddenly for an emergency, I do apologize for thinking that. I hope to see you back next year as you told us you plan to come back. As we strive to perfection and do not stop working and improving services and comfort your stay will even be better next year.

The chalet cabin we rented was beautiful, and we got the campsite beside it free of charge. The cabin had a couch and beds in the loft for sleeping, along with a kitchenette (fridge, coffee maker, and microwave). The shared showers/bathrooms were great! There was also a car wash, dish washing station, and a place to refill your drinking water. The owners were very friendly and accomodating, and helped us find great places to visit! I would definitely come back and camp again!
