We were patrons of Sundog Retreat from April 6-10 2016. Our party of six, three couples and best friends, occupied two cabins Fuzzy Crocus and Cranberry. You will not find cozier cabins with more creature comforts and charm. You can trust the owners for your food needs, your excursion plans and for their extreme care for your vacation. The quote"...

Sundog is a lovely retreat - acres of land to explore, very hospitable hosts and lovely cabins. We had the Wolf Den for a family of 3 and it was very comfortable. Being able to see the northern lights from your cottage window was a particular treat.

My fiancé (now husband) and I stayed in the Cranberry Cabin over the Easter Break. It was better than we could have imagined. The owners, Heather and Andrew were so accommodating and ensured that we had a great stay. We selected Sundog Retreat as our elopement destination and it was perfect. They handled everything and our big day was just...

Everything from start to finish was excellent. From Heather picking us up at the airport, to Andrew driving us around to Their son giving us lessons on how best to photograph the northern lights..... I don't often write reviews but this family run resort deserves it. I took my wife, 15 year old son, 14 year old daughter, and 5...

We spent 3 nights in a cabin at Sundog Retreat with our three children, and it was simply magical. The family running it is simply amazing. Such warm, friendly, helpful and lovely people! Their son went above and beyond to make sure that we had great pictures of the Northern Lights (which we got to see every night), and it...

My adult daughter and I stayed at the Sundog Retreat. From the initial inquiry the response was prompt and very helpful when we arrived. Their optional meals you can order, reheat in your cabin tasted wonderful. We stayed in the Wolf Den which has one bedroom downstairs and a larger bedroom upstairs. The bathroom is downstairs. They have satellite tv....

Our experience at Sundog Retreat, was PERFECT, the personalized treat, the excelente selection of extra activities providers. The very cozy cabin, the food, the warm attention from the owners and staff, also they take special care to the details and punctuality, and the cherry of the cake we could see the northern lights from our own bed.

Where do I start our experience at Sundog retreat was amazing from start to finish. The hosts Heather and Andrew were very welcoming we enjoyed all the facts about the local area they were able to share with us. We stayed in the Cranberry cabin on a 3 night aurora yukon package, luckily we were able to see the beautiful...

The cabin (Fuzzy Crocus) is secluded, spacious, cozy, and very clean. I loved the wood walls and ceilings. The heating worked well, except it did not reach the bathroom. The layout is suitable for a family with a double bed and a futon which are in close proximity, limiting privacy. The bedroom has large window which looks north and you...

We couldn't get enough of the aurora borealis, sitting outside at 1:30 a.m.,marveling at their wondrous beauty. We loved our cabin (Wolf's Den), the sauna, walks in pristine snow, and the hospitality of our wonderful hosts. A side trip to the Takhini Hot Springs had us swimming outside in February! (Stay for the crepes!) Whitehorse and its people are charming...
