The hotel is nice, clean and nice.
The well-made food is exquisite.
And that would be enough.
But what will bring me back is the nice kindness of the sisters who lead it.
their smiles, advice, attention and words for every moment.
grazie, brave, bravissime!
The kindness of the family staff
Excellent cuisine, very welcoming environment
Well we'll definitely go back
Maybe in winter given the proximity to the Cimoncino facilities
Thank you
We got a room with a large balcony, just what we needed (we also had our dog with us).
For primo we got the small loafes of bread (the name escapes me). We explained that we had had the same in Civago (also on the Emilie-Romagna side) and that started a long discussion on regional food. If you think Italy is all about Pantheon, Spaghetti Bolognese and gondoles, go to the mountains!
As you expect in the montains, the food was "robust" in that the tastes are not subtle and fragant, but "rustic" and strong. Local dishes are served with pride. If you ask for more than that, in Emilie-Romagna, you don't know what you are doing.
In other words: The restaurant was very good.
The breakfast was more substantial than down on the plains. However, the outstanding, still-warm home-baked cake placed everything else in the shadows.
Even though our back-packs were full (a week long tracking), how could we not accept when we chaked out and were offered a jar of home-made marmelade. At home we had it on bread, with coffee, in the morning while thinking of Gabriella.
My advice: Go there!
