Great location in the hills outside Okanagan Falls. Very peaceful and quiet, and only a short drive from the wineries and golf courses in the Okanagan Valley and Similkameen. Our room was very comfortable, and there was lots of furniture outside, including by the pool, on which to relax once it gets warmer. Brenda and Rick are excellent hosts. Their breakfasts are superb and set you up for the rest of the day.
An incredible B&B hidden up in the mountains in Kaleden. Once you get there, you will enjoy incredible views, beautifully appointed suites, delicious breakfasts and a pool area that is wonderfully relaxing. A short drive to Penticton or OK Falls and the Naramata Bench. We could have easily stayed longer just to enjoy all that this area has to offer and Casa Colina was the perfect place to stay.
Brenda and Rick made us feel like family. Our stay was relaxing and most enjoyable. Brenda brings a hole new dimension to breakfast. The food was delicious and plenty. My personal thanks for opening the pool early in the morning. We where also blessed to see Deer steps from our door. Truly a great environment to get away from the hustle and the noise of the big city.
First off we'd like to thank Brenda and Rick for being amazing hosts and great people. The breakfasts were 5 star culinary creations. The decor fit the overall Sante Fa vibe. The pool was a welcome retreat since we were in mid 40's temps. The intimate number of guests and no children was just what we needed. We had a couple of special requests and Brenda was very accommodating to ensure our stay was memorable. One of the best vacations we've had in a long time! We highly recommend and would stay there again and again.
We recently spent a couple of days at Casa Colina. This was a well worth-it get away. The innkeepers Brenda and Rick keep a well maintained, spotless B&B. Our room was well equipped with top end furnishings, very clean and comfortable. The 'included' breakfasts (i.e. for the main building guests) were exceptional - we suggest not skipping this delight. The pool was open during our stay - it is heated and has a nice deck area for relaxing in the sun. Casa Colina is only a relatively short drive from Penticton for dinners, etc.. Of course many wineries are also quite near for visits. All in all, a 1st rate B&B
This was a beautiful property to stay at! The decor was lovely, the grounds were peaceful and quiet, with an occasional visit from some local deer to make you feel like you've truly left city life behind. Brenda and Rick are wonderful hosts. They were both so friendly and accommodating. And the breakfasts! I can't say enough about the amazing breakfast creations that Brenda brought to the table each morning! We will definitely be back next time we're in the Okanagan!
First-rate accommodations, quality finishings, great breakfasts, superb service. The hosts were very accommodating even preparing a takeaway breakfast. The vibe was unique for the BC Interior . Would definetely recommend.
Chosen as our first stop in a circle tour of B.C. interior. This b&b is at the top of a hill surrounded by trees, birds, and sunshine. We had a large king suite with luxury linens, beautiful towels, and calming colour tones. Bed was very comfortable. Robes, slippers, fridge, coffee machine. Swimming pool water was perfect temperature. Breakfast was broiled grapefruit with a dollop of yogurt and a garden flower, bacon and buttermilk pancakes with bananas and blueberries. Delicious. Location between Oliver and Penticton. Already recommended to two couples. Very clean and no worries about being at risk.
What can we say about Casa Colina! The gracious owners, Brenda and Rick gave us a wonderfully warm welcome and an exceptional place to stay. They have truly transformed their adobe home into a super retreat. Casa Colina is a warm guest house, quiet and serene, where personal hospitality abounds! Brenda and Rick's attention to detail is evident throughout the property The accommodations are top notch, tastefully decorated, impeccably clean and so very comfortable. As a host, Rick seemed to amiably toil behind the scenes with quiet grace, making sure that all was in working order. As a hostess, Brenda was a treasure trove of local knowledge, providing lots of history and recommendations, such an easy person with whom to have a conversation with on all manner of topics. The conversation with other guests flowed in a very relaxed manner at breakfast, which was elegantly presented at a beautiful antique polished wooden table. Brenda's talents in the kitchen were definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The dishes were fresh, plentiful, and splendidly gourmet-level, definitely worthy of Kings, and the portions so generous that we did not need to eat again until dinner! Thank you Brenda and Rick for sharing your time and your home! It was absolutely delightful!! Jim and Julie…
We just returned from three nights staying at Casa Colina! What an amazing place to stay! The rooms are wonderful, spacious, and decorated impeccably. The location is wonderful...off the beaten track, but mere minutes from many wineries (if that is what you are there for). So quiet and peaceful...we slept so well. And then there are the breakfasts. Soooo delicious. Brenda goes that extra mile with all the dishes she prepares and it shows (and boy can you taste it too)! Highly recommend staying here!!!!! Eric and Donna.
