Mothers' Day lunch for 6. It's a popular place and for special events I recommend booking early. We booked weeks ago but despite this we were crammed in to a little corner with barely enough room. The staff were courteous and, for the most part, efficient but sadly, after having been handed the desert menu we waited 20 minutes before...

Really impressed by our lunch (especially as we had bought a travel zoo lunch deal). Friendly service and welcome. Interesting and varied menu which lived up to its promise. Really great ambiance and pub feel which we love. Its hard to maintain a good reputation over may years but the staff and management here continue to do exactly that and...

A group of 7 of us dined here to celebrate a friend's Birthday. We found parking to be a bit of an issue on arrival but we discovered we were allowed to park in the gateway of the farm opposite. Lovely warm atmosphere, and friendly staff. I chose calves liver for my main course - one of my fav's and...

The room was clean and tidy with a great walk in shower and very comfortable. The food that evening was excellent and again great friendly service. Breakfast equally as good...

Very satisfied with this last minute booking which was good value. The accommodation in the side building modern and spacious , wet room with powerful shower. Relaxing meal and breakfast in the pub with mellow music playing and a table laid by the fire. Location ideal for our trip to Castle Combe and Bath. Would recommend this Inn.

We called in on the of chance for Sunday lunch and weren't disappointed. The pub is dog friendly, the waitress kindly brought water for our dog. The food was of a good standard and reasonably priced. I highly recommend the Sunday roast.

Really good meal.. nice atmosphere food was real good. Had belly pork and hoisin sauce for starter which was delicious. Roast Partridge -bubble & Squeak and red cabbage was equally as nice and a beautiful cheesecake to finish. Service could have been a little better but it wasn't poor.. will definitely visit again
