We had dinner here on the last night of our visit to the Cotswolds. We were made to feel very welcome and service was excellent. The ham hock was amazing! We shared the strawberry and lime cheesecake as dinner was very filling. Would definitely visit again!

Friendly, yocal owner directs to room. Room was disappointingly a new build motel-style (not main building) up some fake-wooden steps - fake lead windows. Nice shower. Annoying loud coffee machine. Evening meal very good but overpriced - you really do feel that you're paying for the owner's next Porsche! Tables crammed in - Tacky Laurel and Hardy plastic model that...

A week ago we took a couple of friends to OHAH, a place we have been to a few times in the past. What impressed us this time was their flexibility. One of our guests has a tiny appetite, which was readily accommodated by the OHAH staff. In addition, the food was of a high standard. We will certainly be...

We arrived late evening and were able to book an evening dinner at nine . Which we thoroughly enjoyed. Our room was extremely spacious , with lovely furnishings and lots of extras.ie hair dryer, straightners, iron and board, slippers, lovely cosy towels, and a coffee and tea maker with biscuits. The double bed was enormous! The rooms are separate from...

Haven't been here for a while as last visit the food wasn't that good. We decided to give it another try & were pleased we did! We all chose from lunch fixed price 3 courses a very acceptable £16. They have also refurbished the seating - not lots of changes but definitely more comfortable seating. Good service & good pub...

We ate here once before on a table so close to the bar that a customer, at the bar, kept hitting my head with his elbow. We decided to give it a 'once more' try and bought a discounted voucher for lunch. Quite simply, the management have tried to put too many tables in a small area. The man at...

Attended yesterday's Shooting Even with another couple. Warm welcome on arrival with coffee and tea available then a short wait for a bacon butty packed wth plenty of filling. Off to the Shooting Venue and teamed up with our group of mainly beginners. Max was our instructor who was brilliant and very patient. Most enjoyable 2 hours of shooting. Back...

Stayed one night for a clay pigeon shooting event. Welcome great, rooms very different but great (wet room bathroom, under floor heating unique), food & service good. The whole stay was relaxing & enjoyable-exactly as the title says

Expensive country pub , but then again why not treat yourself to a 5 star once in a while. Lovely roast just about enough , good quality and the cheesecake for dessert was lovely. One of the best local pubs to go to.

Stopped off on the outskirts of Bath with a view to exploring Castle Combe the next day. This place looked good on paper and despite being close to the M4 motorway, between junctions 17 and 18, there was no discernible noise nor lots of through traffic. The accommodation was modern and up a few steps behind the original building, but...
