I stayed on 25th Feb as part of a 60th birthday celebration. We were greeted by very friendly staff who could not have been more helpful and showed us to a beautiful room. The breakfast was superb and the service was again very friendly.

So convenient for the A1 and local towns. The staff are young, enthusiastic and hard working, with a lovely relaxed but detailed approach to customers. The food was delicious and we were only sorry that we got there a little late and only had time for the great pub grub….the full menu meals that others had ordered looked so delicious...

This truly is a hidden gem. We booked 2 nights for birthday/New Year Celebrations.... and what a night we had. Check in was easy, room spotless plenty of tea/ coffee etc. Loved the extras, bottled water the jar of sweeties, just the little extras that make it. The meal that night was exquisite, dancing till midnight, where we took a...

This is a local pub to us, but to be honest we don't eat our=t that often. We had been away for the weekend and wanted to finish off with Sunday lunch. Wow it was perfect, I'm not the easiest person to please as I pride my own cooking. But from the first taste I knew it was special. Topped...

We stayed here with our dog en route to visit family in Scotland. The first winter snow was on the ground. We arrived at 4.30 to a good welcome from Harrison and son but to a cold room. Harrison quickly boosted the heating and offered chocolate brownies. We ate in the bar, dogs allowed, the choice of food was very...
