What can I say other than...don't hesitate! If you have never tried a B&B style resort...this is where to start! John and his partner have created a masterpiece. It is like a beautiful canvas with surprises every where you turn! The layout well thought out. About 20 minutes from Napier (airport) and 15 minutes towards the Cape Kidnapper's coastline by...

We stayed here for two nights while cycling around Hawkes Bay, and really enjoyed the experience. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and is surrounded by a number of well-kept gardens. The separate and well-equipped lounge area was a great place to relax with friends and the ample breakfasts provided were delicious. Our only concern was that our room...

Delighted you enjoyed your stay and your trip to Hawke's Bay. Yes, a couple of our rooms are a little too small for travellers with large cases but I'm pleased you enjoyed the guest lounge and gardens.

...was just as wonderful as it was two years ago. Every detail is looked after and all you have to do is relax and enjoy the beautiful gardens and pond, the hot tub under the starts, and John's amazing breakfasts. The communal kitchen and lounge building is a great place to curl up on a rainy afternoon. St Andrews Escape...

Our second visit in a year, this time with family from Denmark - and no less impressive than last year. We love this secluded treasure in the Hawkes Bay Area. A place to relax and enjoy the real pleasures in life. We will be back!

Stayed for four nights during Napier Art Deco Festival. Very comfortable and clean accommodation in relaxing setting. Conveniently placed for Havelock North, Hastings and Napier if you want to go out (will need a car) but quite secluded and private. Very friendly and helpful host.

Conveniently located to North Havelock, Hastings, Te Mata, and the Hawke's Bay wine area. Stylish accommodations located on gorgeous grounds complete with a duck pond, orchards, and the best hot tub ever. Breakfast includes yogurt, cereals/meusli, fresh fruit salad, tea/coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice, breads/croissants, cheese, and jams. We stayed in the Retro Room and loved the stained glass window....

We were blown away by the beautiful gardens and grounds when we arrived and so thrilled with our lovely Pacifica room. We stayed in February for 3 nights over a long weekend and I was so pleased we were able to get this reservation. Breakfasts were a revelation too with John preparing freshly baked bread, pastries, and an amazing fresh...

My partner and I stayed here over Waitangi weekend in the self contained Te Whare room. The place was immaculate, comfortable and everything we could possibly need was thought of and provided for. The grounds are equally as immaculate with great facilities including outdoor bath tub and spa pool as well as a beautiful pond and gardens. Although we were...
