My boyfriend and I recently stayed here for 2 nights. We drove in from Toronto during a terrible storm and got lost on our way. We arrived after being lost for over an hour and were warmly greeted by Gord at the front desk. He was kind enough to guide us to the resort and stay on the phone with...

What a hidden gem this place is! It is an adult resort offering all the amenities for an active lifestyle. The snowshoeing was great on a well marked trail; XC skiing or ice skating was also available. Very clean and quite accommodations; very homey and nicely appointed. absolutely beautiful view from our lakefront chalet. The wood burning sauna was a...

My daughter Sarah and her her fiancé Alain couldn’t have chosen a more enchanting place for their winter wedding. Robert and the entire staff were amazing. The buffet on the Friday evening after the wedding rehearsal was beautifully displayed and offered dishes for every taste. Our immediate wedding party enjoyed the bonfire and hot tub afterwards. Breakfast the next morning...

Thank goodness we all have fun regardless. Family wedding on a beautiful, chilly winter day. Furnace did not work in dinner area. Guests used the blankets provided for the ceremony. Smoky room due to wood fire (flute shut when originally lit perhaps?). Windows had to be opened to clear. Food was tasty but not hot. Floors and stairs could use...

We stayed in the Lake View #5 cottage and are already planning our next stay!!! The loft bedroom is such a nice way to enjoy waking up to snow covered trees. This cottage has a little kitchenette, 2 bedrooms, full bath and a cozy living room with fireplace overlooking the lake. The wrap around deck is great for sitting out...

We stayed at Trillium for a wedding. The Lodge itself is a rustic post and beam venue. It lends to accommodate a small intimate wedding. For this wedding, all tables had to be removed after dinner in order to have a dance floor. The lodge does have a couple of separate lovely sitting areas with a big screen TV and...

Heather A Thank You for your comments regarding your weekend stay. To address your points; When there is a full 4 person band for the reception there are some logistics to consider in terms of the Great Room set up, as it does take away from the number of guest tables that could be used. Just to clarify there were...

We stayed at the resort Dec 26-28th just after the Christmas Holiday, and we had a lovely time! The resort is beautiful and well kept, there was a major storm and frozen roads on our way up to the resort and even with the bad weather the maintenance crew was on top of it. They even e-mailed all of the...

A not so wonderful winter getaway My boyfriend and I spent two nights at the trillium resort/spa in Muskoa from Dec 19th -21st and our experience was disappointing and frustrating. Food: When I booked the resort I made it clear that we are vegans and asked if they are familiar with this diet, we were assured by the resort that...

We got married at Trillium and it was the most beautiful setting. The staff and Inn Keeper were so helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. After researching all the wedding packages for venues in Muskoka, you cannot beat the value the Trillium Resort offers. Truly a weekend our guests and ourselves will never forget.
