We saw a sign for the Ship while visiting Snape, called in for a drink & ended up staying a few hours! We had a fab roast & lovely pudding, alongside traditional live music. Lovely friendly staff too. Sally & Geoff W Sx

Just returned from fabulous lunch with friends at The Ship Blaxhall. Pub grub served to an excellent standard. Jane, Mike and the lovely Tina made us so welcome and didn't rush us at all. Highly recommended.

Firstly, I would like to point out that we would not normally respond to negative comments but feel in this instance that we have to. To start with who on earth takes their mother out on Mother's Day without booking. To make comments about a persons attire in a review shows a certain level of thinking. The tables were dressed...

quite remote in a very quiet village. This Inn becomes alive as the music venue to visit, with a vast array of local and not so local musical entertainment to enjoy. Accommodation is simple, clean and more than adequate. Food at the Inn is first class and plentiful. Great choice of local ales. Definitely worth the visit and I will...

A lovely traditional pub with welcoming hosts, good basic b&b aaccommodation, excellent food and a decent hot shower. Unfortunately the evening pubs entertainment turned into a rather drunken scrum at midnight. Woke up a few folks staying over but seemed to be dealt with by the locals meeting out their own form of justice. Would still recommend this place as...

Stayed overnight in room for 2 plus dog on a Saturday and the Inn was packed from 5:30 onwards. Clearly popular with the locals and with enough musical events scheduled to sink a ship, this remote little watering hole is alive and kicking. Dog was allowed to sit with us in the bar whilst we met up with friends and...

This review is for the pub restaurant only. We waited for some time on arrival before we were acknowledged. Once seated the service was OK. We ordered a starter, which was rather heavy and processed. The main meals were disappointing. Steak and mushroom pie was possibly re-heated in the microwave and pastry completely soggy. Vegetables were over cooked. Possibly too...

Pleasant little country pub with a main bar and, what they call, the restaurant. The food is quite good, and is reasonably priced. There were three beers on when we visited - nothing spectacular, just the standard Adnams and Woodfordes. They were ok though. The evening musical entertainment was very good, and I would return purely for that. However, the...
