We arrived on Sunday when the pub was very busy i waited 15 mins at the bar only to be told i need to go over to another deal and wait there to check in. After another 10 mins a supervisor or manager came over to check me in to say the experience was cold was an understatement something a...

We stayed for 2 nights. The room was adequate but tired, wardrobe door knob missing, cobwebs, no soap...just complentary shampoo and shower gel. The bathroom had shower and tile mould...the floor was in need of a re grout too! Good points of room, blackout curtains, fresh crisp bedding ability to adjust the room temperature. On the first night we ate...

Stayed for two nights on business. The room was very small, although clean and the bathroom was tiny. We had to check out very early in the morning for flights, and we were left entirely to our own devices...shame, a touch of customer service would have made a huge difference. We dined at the restaurant which was nice, friendly service....

Excellent location for overnight stay prior to flying from Birmingham airport. Excellent greeting from staff on arrival. Room just ok, clean, but bathroom, shower quite cramped. Very cold evening but instructions on room heating very misleading and asked reception for help, and delightful lady came to help,. But she didn't understand instructions, and she fetched us an extra duvet, which...

Spent one night here on business. I have stayed before and it was ok but I was much less impressed this time. It was very hot which made things worse but my room was noisy and wasn't helped by staff/someone having conversation outside at 0130. Noisy fan/unit rattling and humming away all night too. Otherwise room/bathroom clean and decent enough...

First the bad. Food choice now varied but clearly supplied "from the freezer van". I had chicken pie with local veg. Orange carrot very al dente, purple carrot couldn't cut with knife. My partner had tiger prawns in parsley butter - not impressed. Note, please, we are not fussy eaters normally. We found the pricing high, perhaps because we come from...
