I do not normally write reviews but felt compelled in this instance to do so. I was travelling down for business meet in the area and arrived very early - 6am. All of the coffee shops where I would normally do some work were closed and I would have had to travel 20 mins to find somewhere and 20 mins...

Stayed here for one night when visiting the NEC arena. Was very pleased with the service we received, everyone was friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom was very modern, and despite the bar and restaurant downstairs being busy there was no noise to be heard in the rooms. We ate dinner in the restaurant downstairs which we thoroughly enjoyed,...

Great, modern bathroom with bath and shower facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again next time we were in the area. Much better than...

We stayed in a family room the night before our flight from Birmingham. The room was spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and the bar was great. Only minor issue was with check out. We left early and the 'system was down' so after several minutes delay we left card details written down in a post it note which the...

My husband treated me to a night's stay here in March 2017 before going to Crufts at the nearby NEC centre. Unfortunately our journey was 2 hours longer than it should have been due to the m5 closure but thankfully but thank goodness that the hotel was so lovely after the awful journey! The whole room was very stylishly furnished...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Greswolde is a stylish, and sophisticated hotel set in the quaint village of Knowle. The Greswolde takes its name from Henry Greswolde Lewis, once joint Lord of The Manor of Knowle. The hotel was once a coaching inn and was enlarged during Georgian times. Our restaurant serves our Chef and Brewer menu which is designed to tempt all taste buds. Our open plan bar and restaurant area is the perfect place to unwind and relax whilst enjoying a beverage from our extensive wine menu. Our rooms offer everything you'd expect, plus extra creature comforts such as a TV that plays CDs and DVDs. We also have a sauna and gym. We can cater for your wedding and look after your needs for meetings and conferences, whether it's an event for 2 or 150 people. We have excellent links to the motorway which is ideal for visitors that will be using the NEC, NIA or ICC in Birmingham. ... more   less
