We spent 1 night at Cape Borda heritage Woodward Hut, which is their smallest accommodation right next to the Lighthouse. It has everything you need to prepare your meals, given that you bring all food with you. The toilet is a short walk from Hut - there is no shower available for this Woodward's guests. Other cottages do have facilities,...

nice place to stay, must bring your food as nothing near you at least 2 hrs away. only go if you want to be away from city life as no mobile reception and no internet. more of wild life experience or may i say 1940's as mostly old style.

The most basic out of the accommodation on site, Woodward Hut is as close as you can get to sleeping in a lighthouse without actually sleeping in a lighthouse. It's just a couple of metres away and sitting at the little table inside the hut while watching the lighthouse beams was quite something. We watched the sunset sitting directly in...

A beautiful place, very quiet, incredible play of light in the sky and sea - the evening I arrived was a full moon in front of enormous salmon clouds with a rainbow topping it all off - the resident ranger Mick is a great host. I stayed in the Hartley Hut, basic but comfortable with plenty of kitchen gear. The...

We stayed in Hartley Hut, which was lovely. It is basically furnished but had everything that we needed in a self catering cottage- saucepans, plates, glasses etc. But make sure that you do your food shopping on the mainland or in the main towns in the east of KI since there is nowhere to eat for many miles. It was...

this little hut has a double bed and a fold out sofa. No TV but it has a good kitchen. The bathroom was very good- old fashioned but clean. I would recommend this hut to a couple or a family of 3. Also no food to be found this end of the island so bring it with you. The only...

The house "Flinders Light Cottage" in its unique 1930's style, is a home away from home. Big enough for our family of 5 with room to spare. Kangaroos, echidnas, wallabies, goannas and Mic the caretaker ... wonderful hosts. Cape Borda; the edge of the world, hard to get to, yet hard to leave with its ever so quaint lighthouse and...

Loved this remote location ....no phone, no internet, no tv and no radio. Just us, the lighthouse and the kangaroos. We stayed in the smaller cottage which was comfortable for 2. Mick was a great host - we found the lighthouse tour very interesting and entertaining (thanks Mick!), and we enjoyed the walks in the area. It was a long...

We spent one night at Cape Border, in the Light House Keeper's cottage. What an amazing experience!!!! If you want to get away from it all and spend a bit of time in a more remote/isolated location that is full of history then this is the place for you. The cottage is well appointed, comfortable, quiet and easily accessible ......
