From the moment we checked into Hotel Brinkly, we felt at home. Erik's sense of humor delighted us, as he showed us to our room and introduced us to the guinea pigs who are so pampered they live in a replica of the Hotel, complete with heat. Our room had a very comfortable porch which was wonderful after spending 10... More

The hotel is located right on Strandvejen south of Helsingör. That means it 's pretty much car traffic just in front of the hotel. Our room overlooked however, the other side so we were not disturbed by traffic. It is relatively far to walk to the train station in Snekkersten , however , there is a bus stop very close... More

We stayed here 2 nights. The owner, Eric, met us on arrival showing us the tea/coffee making facilities along with home made cookies, sweet treats and alcohol to purchase if needed. We had room 6 which was cosy and overlooking the back garden. The room is in a corridor of several other rooms and in close proximity to the dining... More

Having left home at lunchtime, our wait at Manchester Airport security and the delays caused by one stupid woman with a bag over full with cosmetics meant that we had no time get anything there to eat or drink before boarding the plane. SAS only offered tea or coffee by way of refreshment and the one hour time difference meant... More

I was there in october af it was easy that I could check in late in the evening. Breakfast looked dilicious, but I didnt taste it, as I stayed at the hotel while I followed some education near by. The room was romantically decorated, and the toilet with bath on the room quite new. There was a nice yard behind... More

We stayed here on a cycling holiday and there is access to cycling trail at rear of Villa. Rooms small but outside seating/eating area very flexible. Owners friendly and welcoming. Annette makes beautiful food for outside catering and presents fresh home made breakfasts with yogurts, fruit, pancakes, breads, eggs, etc. You can bring back your own supper and sit out... More

Hotel Brinkley is right on the sea, with a forest park behind. The hotel is small (eight guest rooms), but the owners go out of their way to be accommodating; more like a seaside "guest house" than a commercial hotel. Less than 15 minutes (by car) from Kronberg Castle (Hamlet) in Helsingor. Trains from Copenhagen and local bus service. Great... More

We spent one night here - a very pleasant room with an extremely comfortable bed and beautifully laundered bedding. It was clean and nicely furnished. The bathroom was quite small/bijou but had everything we needed. Breakfast was laid out in a 'help yourself' style and was pretty comprehensive. Tea, coffee etc were freely available at any time and we were... More

Modest 10 rooom B&B like place. Rooms basic and clean. The proprietor was very friendly and extremely accommodating especially when our american credit cards could not be processed in their machine. They advised us of fine local restaurant up the road. The location is in close proximity to the Louisiana Art Museum and Frederickborg Slot. It is also a 5... More

We had the pleasure of spending a weekend at Hotel Villa Brinkly in June, while visiting some friends in the area. The booking had been very friendly - they just needed our names, and that was it. That is called trust. When we arrived in afternoon, the place was unmanned, and our keys were placed in an envelope on the... More
