We drove from Paris to the Normandy area to tour the D Day sites. Our family included 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The room was two stories- a room with two beds downstairs and a loft with three beds upstairs. Nice and comfortable. Close to Bayeux where our tour started. The only downside to the hotel was that the first...

After travelling a long journey through Spain and France this hotel was such a welcoming stop they couldn't of been more pleasant, the food in the restaurant was really good and our little dog was very welcome and we didn't need to sit in the rain. I would totally recommend this hotel for a night stop or a week break...

We have booked for June 2017 and this will be the 5 time we have stayed there. The staff are great and make a fuss of my dad, D Day Veteran. They have now opened a restaurant which is excellent. Looking for once again to staying at the hotel.

We were looking for an aparthotel close to the port of Ouistreham for a short winter break. Gold Beach was perfect as it was about half an hour from the port and very convenient for visiting the landing beaches, Bayeux and of course Caen. We had a superior double so it was a king size bed on a mezzanine floor....

Very convenient location to the many historical sites in the Normandy area. The staff was VERY helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Our room had a small loft and a little kitchenette, perfect for refrigerating or heating up the kids' snacks.

The Gold Beach Hotel was chosen due to its proximity to Caen port for Briitany ferries (30 mins) and to Bayeux (20 min). It is also open until 11:00 pm, essential for the afternoon ferry which arrives at 9:30 pm; most other hotels in the area seem to close at 9 pm!!! Are they missing a trick here? And in...

I stayed here because it was a good location as a base to cover all the areas within the D Day invasion area. The cost per night was $45. You can opt for the full buffett breakfast for an extra 12 Euros. It was and okay but a little too much if you are running out early to get to...

I stayed at Gold Beach hotel on the nights of 4th October until 8th October. About and hour and a half drive from Cherbourg Ferry Port, this hotel is situated just off Gold Beach (hence the name), and is a perfect starting point to visit World War 2 locales across Normandy. Pointe Du hoc, Omaha Beach, American Cemetery and British...
