Every year we come back to treat us to a weekend in this beautiful family hotel. This time we brought our family from Australia to make them experience french conviviality, french food and this absolutely beautiful and cosy atmosphere In the hotel. We all found that the food was once again absolutely outstanding, everything is home made. We also loved the little bar corner with view to the snowy mountains. The rooms are renovated, spacious and the beds are comfortable. But what made our stay so special was the welcoming and friendly host, Veronique. We absolutely loved it and are already looking forward to next winter!

Stayed for a week of half-board as part of an English group. Easy to find, especially if arriving from Geneva. Parking available and immediately opposite the skibus stop. Walking distance from the supermarket and the centre of Les Rousses. Made welcome by the staff. Decent breakfast. Good food well prepared or all three courses of the evening meal. Rooms were warm with plenty of hot water. We had room 31 which had a long balcony and a good view but would not be suitable for anyone who struggles with stairs. Everywhere was clean. Having some French is an advantage.

I have been at Gai Pinson for 2 times, and both were awesome. I had the best meals from chef Johann (local cuisine from Jura), all the hospitality from the Clerc's (Owners of the Hotel),the comfort of the place and the mountain ambience was amazing!. I really have nothing negative to say about this experience and I recommend this place for everybody.

I recommend this restaurant. As it is stated in the dinning room, it's home made food and tastes like it! The home paté is very tasty with a mix of carrots, and the other choices, mostly with some cheese from the area are very tasty. Service is vey nice, people with smiles on their faces and able to answer questions about the food or the decorations of the room. We were lucky once more to stop at a nice place.
