The park is beautiful, and have a lot of good activities, for all age groups but the some of things about the cottage need looking at. We paid extra for a refurbished cottage and it looked older than the non-furbished cottages. The kitchen equipment was not clean at all and the microwave and dishwasher are useless.

We had a lot of fun at Centre Parcs. The staff were friendly and helpful. Some things could do with improvements such as the beds/linen/pillows and overall cleanliness. Activities were lots of fun for the kids. Bikes could do with better servicing. Overall a great fun family holiday, if you’re not expecting a high end experience.

We booked a renewed premium 6 persons cottage. The cottage itself was large enough, but... When we walked in, we saw dust on all the furniture, the floor was not clean at all. The "renewed" couch was filled with stains.. We cleaned all this ourselfs for the most part. Then, the first night, it was very cold. I tried to up the heating, but it didn't work. Fortunately the last guests already contacted the reception so there was a mechanic to fix it the other day. A premium has a nice bath with bubble function, so ofcourse we tried it: the water came from under the bath and through doorframes. As Center Parcs should be kidsproof we at least expect the wall outlet (which were situated just 10 cm above the floor) to be protected so kids (we have a three year old daughter) can't put there fingers in it easily. But... again a failure. The bungalow was in very bad shape unfortunately. Then, the restaurants: We ate at the Il Giardino Italian Restaurant. Looked very welcoming, always a lot af people eating there. We tried three pizza's but unfortunately all three of them were cold, the cheese on top was not even melted. We also went for dinner at the Forest Lodge REstaurant, this restaurant was exeptional! We had a fantastic dinner, very friendly staff, very good food! If you want to go to eat somewhere, always consider this restaurant. It is a bit expensive but as I said, it was exceptional! Last thing we tried was the Barbeque Party with the Delivery service. Bbq was delivered on time and worked perfectly! Only problem we had was that they added all the meat in 1 plastic box which was no problem if they had let the chicken out. Everyone knows you never put chicken with other meat!!! Again it also was a bit expensive but to be honest, everything, even the market was expensive, but we knew that up front. Location of the park was perfect! beautiful scenery, great kidsplayground outdoor and indoor, lots of fun activities, ofcourse a nice aquamundo!

Very difficult if you don't speak French. Stuff speak a little English, but seems when they don't understand you they still very confident in giving advises which ruined our last day of stay. We were traveling next day and had to take PCR test before our flight. At reception we were told that we can take PRC test at Covit test kiosk at car park. This was false. Only antigen tests are carried out there. At kiosk we were told that we can task PCR test at near by (5km) pharmacy before 12. We went there only to be told that they don't do PCR tests and closest lab is 1.5h drive away. We wanted to come back to spend last day at the pool, but were not allowed to come back - because you need a new rapid test to enter (needless to say, it is not free for non-french). There were no information leaving CenterParcs that you cannot come back. Basically, you are not allowed to leave the place. You are like in prison. The quality of cottage also could be improved, especially the appliances. The freezer door was missing (integrated), so everything on upper shelfs was freezing while lower shelf was too warm. Dishwasher lower basket was missing 4 wheels, also detergent dispenser would not open during washing - so dishes were not cleaned properly. Shower shield had huge gap making big pools after taking shower. The golf car rental is overpriced. Free bus possible to take only one way as it goes rounds, so either it takes 10min to ride to the pool and 40min back or the other way round. Bikes rental is also overpriced. Parking next to the pool is overloaded. You have to arrive very early to have a chance to find a slot.

we travelled end of august, beginning of september with a two year old and stayed in one of the exclusive cottages (1 week). The cottage was really nice, modern, quiet, and equipped with 2 bathrooms (one with bubble bath), 2 bedrooms, sauna, spacious terrace and living room. There were some small issues (flickering light, door that did not close on the terrace, kitchen door that did not close), but this was all fixed the day we mentioned this. The cottage was in good shape overall. The exclusive cottages are at the end of the park, and is quite far from eg aqua mundo and the supermarket eg. The first day we took the car to drive to the supermarket, but after that we just rented 2 electric bikes (quite some hills over there!!!), one with a bike trailer for our kid. You could also rent a golf cart, but in our opinion this is not worth the money. We were happy with our bikes, which can be parked in front of your cottage. The first electric bike we received actually had only one break. Pretty dangerous for an electric bike considering the starting point when you collect the bike is up a hill... So I woud recommend to thoroughly check your bike before taking it along! There are lots of things to do in te park as advertised by center parcs, we only visted aqua mundo, the children's farm and the playground in the forest lodge. You simply cannot complain about aqua mundo. There are waves, several pools for small kids, and a huge water playground with slides for older kids, and then of course the wild river and the big slides. We did not experience everything, we just focussed on what our child was able to do which was plenty. In august it was really crowded (in the pool every meter there is someone standing with no room at all), but in september it was actually enjoyable and far less people. The children's farm was nice, although I don't understand why you need to pay extra for the carousel. Also the pancakes in the pancake house are not worth the money (actually they are bad). The indoor playground in the forest lodge is really great! Our kid was a bit young, but older kids surely will appreciate this a lot! As said, many things to do in the park, but we also went out. I can highly recommend the theme-park Fraispertuis (we enjoyed that the most actually), the animal parc sainte croix, we did not like that much (animals are hard to spot, especially with young children). So we enjoyed this vacation, but one week is enough, especially since there is not much to do outside the park.
