Just back from a weeks stay at this lovely family owned hotel and we would definitely return.
It's a small hotel, with the friendliest staff and owners, and the best breakfast buffet - the fresh fruit, yoghurt, cheeses were very good along with the usual buffet...More

It's about 15 mins from Chania Town by bus - you can get the number 21 or 15 bus from a stop walking distance from the hotel, they run approx every 15-20 mins! Tickets only €1.20 from the shop opposite the hotel - more expensive to buy on the bus itself. Buses seem to run fairly late, but we only got them around midday so can't speak from experience there. I think timetables are available online.
