Detailed Reviews
My friends and I rented Chalet 1 and it was clean and well maintained. We also rented the fishing boat and pontoon boat and caught some nice bass for some delicious fresh meals!
We also took the boat to a beautiful little island for some cliff jumping as well.
I would definitely recommend and stay here again!

We stayed for two nights at this Campground. The bathrooms were clean, and the facilities were well maintained. Our overall experience with this tranquil campground had been really enjoyable.
This campgrounds had direct water access to Sand Lake. The boat available for rent had a new motor recently installed. Fish were abundant in the lake, I set a new PB fishing here!

Excellent stay at this campsite. Weekend get away for my husband and I. This is our third visit and we love this campground for the coziness and quiet. Although, this adventure was exceptionally great as the campsite has a new manager and I must credit the new Manager for his wonderful customer service in terms of checking up to see if all was good or if we needed anything. Cudos to Sandlake for having a Manager that cares about their business.

Absolutely fantastic trip The service was amazing , and the staff were incredibly friendly. The fishing experience was quite fun! Conveniently, restaurants and grocery stores were just a short trip from the lodge. Highly recommend!!!!

Our first night in a hired RV, first time camping in a RV and first time in Canada. The owners were so lovely, taught us everything, loaned us fishing rods and answered all out daft English questions with patience and warmth.
The site was lovely, right next to the lake where we hired canoes, boat with an outboard motor. Everyone on site was lovely, taught us how to fish, gut a fish and just generally welcomed us. So lovely we extended our stay. Great start to our Canadian adventure.

The owners strive to keep their campgrounds quiet - within reason. If you are going camping to "party" and be loud with music blaring, this is not the campground for you. If however you enjoy camping (seasonal or overnight - cabins or your own site for tents, rvs, pop up tent trailers), like having good fun, campfires, swimming area (it's not great but it does the trick - the kids love it), a playground next to the beach - swings, climber and slide.
There are 2 motorized boats that you can rent; there are non motorized crafts you can take out that are included in your fee.
There is a boat launch, present fee is $10/launch.
We are seasonal campers there after going a number if times last year and this year. When a seasonal site opened, we jumped at it.
The age range varies - young families with children, Grand parents that may have their grandchildren visit; empty nester.
The owners are very relaxed and easy going. It's enjoyable to go there. Oh and the fishing is awesome :)

We stayed at this campground over the past weekend. The owners are very nice people. Very helpful and friendly!!
The sites aren't huge but they fit the bill nicely. Both electric and water available. Seasonal sites have full hook ups.
Our site was right on the water. Of you have children, it's right where the beach and play ground is, so that makes it easy for minding them. We don't have small children anymore so a different site for us may have been better.
This is a smaller place and we'll cared for. We totally enjoyed NOT having the bazzilian kids running around and screaming!!!! !
Nice quiet campground and very welcoming :)

We have camped here for many years. Gary and his wife bought few years back. They are super friendly and each year we see up dates. Might be a smaller campground, but is great for a weekend with friends. Very clean. Our child is older now, but they have a small beach which we always enjoy watching other families enjoy. If you just want a quiet weekend of sunshine a perfect place to visit.
