This is a no frills hotel in a quiet area outside of Parma. The town is not a tourist stop, but the hotel is a comfortable stop for the night. WiFi is with a booster that has about three hours life, but there are ample replacements fully charged. The room is no frills, but adequate and clean. If in the...

We stayed in room/sweat 1. This consist of a large bedroom, an equally large sitting room, a bathroom, and an extra room on the bathroom with a hand basin in, and hair dryer. The surprise was we also had a covered Veranda at least 30 ft long. It contained 4 jasmin in flowe,r trained up the wall. They made the...

The hotel is quaint and sits on a lovely street. That said, the rooms are a bit dated and on the small size. If you need a clean place to sleep for the night, this is a great choice but I wouldn't want to stay for an extended period of time. They had a lovely breakfast buffet and the service...

We arrived from los angeles and about one hour south of Linate Airport, very near Parma, we found Locanda del Lupo in Soragna. A very traditional hotel, with elevator, For us older folks. Large comfortable rooms in traditional style with lovely antiques and high beamed ceilings. Wonderful courtyard in the center for, sitting, writing and relaxing. Delicious traditional breakfast with...

Locanda del Lupo is well into its third century now. In various ways the hotel shows its age: wifi is too recent an invention, so is airconditioning and as this is an old, low building, elevators would be an anachronism. All this is more than made up for by the hotel’s atmosphere. The rooms are large and stylish in an...

We pulled up on a rainy evening looking for a place to stay. We'd about the place in Karen Brown's book. Soragna was quiet, and we were tired from driving in the rain all the way from Vernazza. the manager was a soft spoken man that was very accommodating. He set us up in some very nice sized, clean and...

Stayed there for 5 days as a base to travel around the region. It is convenient to Bologna and Parma, plus i s near many scenic towns although I wouldn't classify Soragna as one of them. The hotel itself was just okay. We had a suite that overlooked the main street, however a nearby crossroad was a major route and...

spent one night there for business in the end of July'12. Room I had was big and clean. Very nicely decorated. Bathroom was spacious and very clean. I took half board, dinner was very very high standard. Would recommend to go there even if you stay somewhere else. Breakfast wss rather basic, but it is very common in Italy. Overall,...
