We came from France in Italy for holidays, and of july , begining of august. we came twice , we were visting Alberobello, Sassi and more by car. very nice hotel, staff are very friendly and helpfull , front desk, housse keeping, restaurant, and during this period of covid, all is respected in this hotel , sanitary mesures are very well applied. A very good restaurant , beautifull hotel , large supervised swimming pool with a sympatic staff. congratulations to all the staff.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights should have been 7 but 3 was enough!! When we arrived we were told that we could only use the pool and surrounding area Saturday and Sunday which was very disappointing, as there wasn't anywhere else to relax and sunbathe. If we wanted to swim there was an indoor pool but the reason for the holiday was to enjoy the outdoors.Next we were shown to our room which i can only describe as a cell dressed in hessian wallpaper. The bathroom door did not close and the shower had been designed for a child. There was a wedding on the Saturday and another party on Sunday and the music was so loud it was difficult to have a conversation let alone sleep! The breakfast offered was a continental style which was fine but the "hot" breakfast was scrambled eggs and under cooked bacon, the same thing every day. We tried the evening meal on the first night but sent it back as it was under cooked. We had to use the restaurant a second time not by choice but by necessity as there was no other restaurant in the area and again they only offered the same menu of poor food. We finally found somewhere else to stay( beautiful villa in Ostuni) and told reception we were leaving they didn't even ask why or had we enjoyed are stay. We booked through Easyjet and we will be giving them a review on the hotel in the hope that they drop it and don't send any more poor holiday makers there!!

Torre A Mare doesn't have a taxi rank and there is no taxi option. We got to Torre A Mare station from Bari central and had a walk around the small fishing village and then decided to walk the 1.2km to the hotel. So at this point hadn't thought about a taxi anyway, we just wanted to take in the surroundings. There's a lot of eateries, but REMEMBER siesta and everything closes between 12:30-3:00pm. The weather was overcast but warm and then on the sunday we had rain, but it was pretty epic! We walked back and arrived at our hotel, which was really nice! the hotel is the Una Regina and is a 4 star spa hotel. The hotel was lush. We decided to have dinner at the hotel that evening and it was lovely. They even have gluten free and dairy free options. Wine and dinner for 2 was around 40euros. We enjoyed our balcony and the hotel was quiet. We couldn't use the outside pool as it was out of season, but it was nice to walk around and had a massage at the spa, which has a certain percentage off for hotel guests. we decided to make use of the spa facilities with a massage and use the sauna and steam rooms. There is a gym, but if you know me, that wasn't going to be used lol We decided to go for dinner in town where the pizzeria did gluten free pizzas for us. They were so good we decided to have 1 1/2 each! ( Maybe we should have used the gym!) The hotel provides a shuttle bus service if you want to go into town and the latest they will pick you is 10:30pm. After this if you want a taxi it will be around 30 euros as it comes in from Bari and is just not worth the 4 minute taxi ride. we decided to get a taxi back to the airport on Sunday morning which was 50euro and the hotel had made a point of telling us that we shouldn't pay anymore. Hotel staff are a bit hit and miss, some of them were lovely and gave us some real useful information, others weren't too bothered. Really handy to have a car and use the hotel as a base. We just wanted to relax so was very good for us, but if you want some sort of action and adventure, it might be too quiet? All in all, it was a lovely weekend.

Visited here end of May/ beginning of June with my other half. We booked this holiday needing to relax and recharge, looking forward to sunbathing and swimming. We arrived at the the hotel to see the outside pool was green and filthy, couldn’t even dip a toe in it. We asked reception and was then told it’s shut and doesn’t open till 5th of June, our holiday finished on the 4th of June. If we’d have known the pool was shut we would not have been in this hotel. We did try and use the indoor pool but it’s an extra charge of 5€ each for a swimming cap and it doesn’t feel much like a holiday swimming indoors in a swimming cap. Anyway, the room was very basic, shower was very small, no safe optional which shocks me for a four star hotel! Not much information in the room, there was a fridge with water in but we had no idea if we had to pay for these or how much etc. The bottles are 2€ each. Air Con in the room was very confusing, it would stay on for 2 minutes and go off again which left the room feeling very dark, hot and stuffy. The hotel is situated in a very odd place, pretty much in the middle of nowhere which is difficult if you haven’t got a car. We didn’t have a car but luckily we can walk. We walked to the train station and got trains to Bari Centrale, we also walked past the train station and into Torre A Mare which was a nice place to eat daytime and nighttime. We had to walk there as the restaurant isn’t anything to rave about in the hotel. Very limited menu, quite over priced for the portion sizes also. The food is good and at a high quality but we left feeling hungry still. Staff are OK at the hotel. No one stood out, a few were rude. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend the hotel to anyone and I would not return.

Always good to leave these reviews a little bit so as not to say the wrong things. Nice first view of the hotel, Check was not easy, the girl on the desk was Ok but the gent was very cold. Booked 2 rooms, could not get them close, Had to change 1 room as it was not good for a number of reasons, The shower on the first room was shocking. Reception not happy to swap rooms, New room only a little better. Deff not a 4 star. Shower in room 2 no bigger than an old style UK phone box, Unable to bend down and pick up soap or shampoo without opening the door to the shower. Food in restaurant on first and only night was very average and only a small selection. A wedding was going on and the music was load, The pool and the staff at the pool were just great, Plenty of car parking. Nothing close by to see. Plenty of beds at the pool and these were of 4 star quality. Great slides at the pool. Very small bar area at reception. If your looking for a BIG party/wedding I'm sure it is fine but for a family to relax for a week, not for us. Would I go back, No way. Did well to get 2 stars from me. I don't like to post negative comments but it is best to be truthful. If this was classed as a 2/3 start, that would be much better.
