For anyone who is looking to get off the grid, sick of the rat race, tired of chasing the clock........you NEED to get here!!! From being picked up at the hotel in Tucson by Sergio's shuttle service until my return, it was one brilliant experience. The trip from Tucson to Douglas with Sergio was uneventful, but one that has to... More

Two of us spent the last week of January 2016 at the Rancho and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were the only guests at the time so had very personalized service. As experienced riders we felt pleasantly challenged by the rugged terrain while being treated to some of the best scenery that the ranch had to offer. Riding was our... More

My husband and I stayed at the ranch in April 2015, and were enthralled by our experience there. Accommodation is fairly basic, but that seems entirely right for a working ranch in a landscape as pristine as this. We spent our days either hiking or on horseback, exploring canyons and caves, grasslands and mountains. The horses were sure of their... More

Excellent trip. Best riding, scenery, hosts, cowboys and cook I have ever seen. Horses were well trained to travel the rugged terrain. If you are looking for peace, quiet and adventure this is the place to go. Will return.

I went to Rancho los Baños during the Thanksgiving week at the end of November 2015 and stayed there for eight days. I would recommend a trip to the Sonoran desert to be at least five days long, because you will lose always one full day by travelling to and from the ranch. I travelled solo and just one other... Weq travelled half way around the world to visit Manuel and his family at their ranch in the Sonoran desert in Mexico. It really was a dream come true. My seven year old daughter lived it as much as I did. All of the staff were amazing and we felt very welcome and safe eventhough the location of the ranch... More

From the beginning, after meeting Manuel junior, we knew we are into an incredible adventure. He was generous about his knowledge of the area ( I am very curious). Manuel is a third generation Rancher, and nature care-taker, who took the courageous step to share the beauty and experience of a large working Mexican ranch to the few lucky people... More

My son (13) and I stayed at the rancho and had an amazing adventure! Firstly my son who is a computer nerd was kept active and interested for the week we were there. He didn't complain once about lack of Internet for himself! The horse riding was well organised with skilled vaqueros and extremely sure footed horses. The scenery was... More

I visited Rancho Los Banos in November 2015 for the annual cattle round up. I travelled alone and I was excited but also apprehensive that the experience would not live up to my expectations. I really shouldn't have worried - the experience has been one of the best things I have ever done in my life. The scenery is shockingly... More

I stayed at the Ranch during the Thanksgiving week. I was picked up from Douglas by Manuel and his Family. It did not take long to notice that they care deeply about the Ranch, the business, but most importantly the people who come to spend time at the Ranch. The drive did not seem long because they kept me engaged... More
