I like the others am hesitant to share this review because of how perfect this place is. Location was incredible, scenery incredible, best area of the beach and great snorkeling. 5 minute walk from Wigmores for groceries and ICE CREAM!! 10 minute walk from the end of the Cross Island Trek which you must do while you are here. They recommend North to South, but you can go either way. The south side of the trek is closed until the end of Feb 2020 for construction but you can still hike to the needle from the North. The bus will pick you up from right out front if you flag him down. There is also a covered car port if you rent a scooter or car. This is on the more quiet side of the island, but you will still hear traffic because of the ring road on the island. If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs because either the vehicles will wake you up or the roosters will. They are all over the island and they cock a doodle doo whenever they want. It was hilarious to us. When we woke up, that was just time to head to the porch to read and enjoy the morning. At first we were nervous about not having AC, but the sea breeezes and fans worked great. That is probably the only benefit this could have, is a small AC unit in the bedroom. The problem with AC is it’s expensive and inefficient, so I am 100% ok without it. We will be back!

Hello or Kia Orana as the locals say. This review I don’t really want to share because it is just a haven for beauty. The trip. Before we booked we did a lot of research. To be honest if you want the Ritz or Hyatt this accommodation isn’t for you. However if you don’t book here you are missing out. From the start of contact with Rarotonga it all went smooth. That is until we were first off the plane and I had to find the toilet. Then we were last in line. Oh well now on island time lol. The accommodation (The Pepe a one bedroom, but also a two and four available) is basic but comfortable and has everything you need. The owners Jenny and Stuart are wonderful. It is a professional set up with a very friendly face. The location is just perfect for anyone who wants privacy with indoor and outdoor living. Walk down the steps and you are on the beach in crystal clear water. The rock coral formations have beautifully coloured fish which you can see from the surface. The accommodation supplies snorkel gear and kayaks. Don’t bypass this accommodation.

Location, location, location! l doubt you can find a better spot than this on island. You just walk down the terrace steps and you’re on the beach and into the water. Basic but comfortable property, well equipped and clean. Kayak and swimming fins included for use. Bus stops in front of the door and a small convenience shop is just across the road. Delightful owner Jenny made sure we had everything we needed and was more than happy to help in anyway. Thank you Jenny. We were here on honeymoon and plan to celebrate every anniversary in Rarotonga so Jenny we’ll be back!
