The room was very basic, but clean. The man at the office is very friendly. The office is a few blocks away from the motel - look for a rustic-looking log cabin. I couldn't get the wi-fi to work on my smartphone. This is the best place to stay in Gillam as the other hotel was unbelievably sketchy.

OK, so it's not a 5 star hotel but it is the best accommodations you'll get in Gillam. Staff is friendly, and rooms are clean and comfortable. If you can, as for a room by the restaurant. There are two locations and one is right beside the restaurant, the other is a 10 minute walk away.

I guess with all the MB Hydro activity, there has to be a decent standard in transient accommodation in this little town. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the rooms. Basic, but clean and well-maintained. Friendly staff. Short walk to restaurants, store, etc. What more could you want?

Stayed here for a few nights and was happy with the stay. It's one of the nicest motels I've stayed in. Very clean with comfortable bedding. Check in staff were pleasant but the lobby was often closed.

Clean room with good AC, very quiet. Mini fridge and microwave in room. Stayed in rooms right next to reception building. Comfy bed. Nice bathroom. Bags of ice are provided for guests. Wifi wasn't reliable and be very careful not to lose your key as you will be charged a lot to replace it.

I stayed in the Aurora gardens August 29th until sept 2, /019.
Clean, comfortable and. Convenient.
Bed comfortable and extended checkout kindly granted.
I would be pleased to stay there again!
I was able to walk to the workplace in 10 minutes easily.
I was able to purchase groceries at the local Coop store and was surprised to find the prices cheaper than in my hometown grocery store located in southern Manitoba
The suite had a man oven and a cooktop and a small fridge.
I lacked need for any convenience and comfort!

This hotel is located in the centre of town so it's just a walk across the street to the Coop food store, which was about the only thing open when I got into town. The office is not attached to the complex so you have to phone and meet somebody there before driving over to the room. Mostly contractors stay here but the place is clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy. No breakfast is served but the internet was good.

Spent 2 nights here and will be going back again in July for business. This place is close to the Co-op store and gas outlet which are about your only options in town if you don't have a vehicle. There's a nice spot for breakfast half a block away. The rooms are clean, come with a litltle fridge and microwave. Beds are comfy. My only issues were a fan that ran all the time (will be interested if when it's warmer on my return visit the fan stops at some point). Also, the hallway is overly perfumed with one of those plug in things which could be problematic for some people.
