We had three bedrooms; a queen, a double, and twin beds. Beautiful gas fireplace with leather furniture next to dining area and a kitchen with a granite top on a large island. This all, next to a tv area. It was a fantastic and very quiet, luxurious place to stay over Christmas. Nothing but first class! We will be back!

A truly spectacular resort! The scenery is beautiful and the lodges are fabulous! The kitchens are totally equipped with everything you need, including Weber BBQ's on your own private deck. We've enjoyed the resort for several summers and we're 3 generations sharing one lodge. The best family vacations we've ever had have been at Carmel Beach.

Fabulous resort, friendly and attentive staff. Lodges are top notch with lux furnishings. We had two families in a three bed plus den unit. Very large, lots of room for everyone. Location right on the lake cannot be beaten. Amenities included a pool, hot tub, games room and private dock. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Booked Lodge 13 for 5 nights for a staycation in August. Chalet was great, well appointed and nicely laid out. Given we are in the midst of a pandemic I expected that there would be a booking sheet at the pool for each family to access to ensure limited numbers of people on the pool deck and in the pool. Instead shocked to find it was just an "honour system", you are not supposed to enter the pool it you count more than 20 people in it or more than 30 on the pool deck, seriously? The pool is not very large and their "suggestions that you try to maintain a 6 ft distance from others".. Very disappointed with zero rules or booking system to limit people in pool and deck area. This also seems to be party place with large groups of people/families renting lodges and partying out on the decks late at night. If you want a quiet, covid safety centered spot I'd not recommend this place.. Super expensive and no pool Covid booking protocol in place, I'd pass.... We stayed last month at a much more modest property on the water on Vancouver Island that took pool bookings and pool deck numbers much more seriously... We're in the middle of a deadly pandemic.. Wake Up!

Carmel Beach Private Lodges was the most beautiful home away form home while visiting the Blind Bay area. My family travelled from Ontario and we were so pleased with the lodge, the property and the staff. The dock and ground are well maintained, the pool and area are clean, and perfect for hanging out with the family. The added games room with fireplace was perfect on a drizzling day. Our cottage was clean and had everything to make our week long stay comfortable and effortless. Can't wait to return next year.

Our daughter recently held her wedding at Carmel Beach. A beautiful setting on Shuswap Lake with luxurious lodges, great amenities: pool, hot tub, beach front, lawn games, large fire pit area, lots of green space. Lealle & Jason are the best, very gracious hosts, accommodating all our needs.

The title of my review is my only compliant. I actually didn't stay here, I had pre booked a nearby campsite since I was attending a wedding nearby. The bride and groom rented here though and they booked the place out for their guests to stay. In between the ceremony and reception we came here to kill some time. It ended up being a highlight of the weekend! what a backdrop to look at (the lake meeting the mountains) as we sipped out drinks by the clear blue pool which our kids really really enjoyed swimming in. I saw inside one of the suites briefly and it looked clean and comfortable to stay in and I sure wished I was staying there overnight! If I return to the area and want to treat myself to something besides camping I will book here without hesitation.

Our unit (#1) is a 3 bedroom lakeside house. Had neighbours on one side and view of the lake on the other. Couldn't ask for a better location! Literally steps away from the dock and beach. The unit is modern, bright, clean and very comfortable, with everything you need. The resort had paddle board and kayaks for guests to use. There is no restaurant on the property so you would need to cook or Bbq or drive out to the nearby restaurants about 5 or 10 mins away. There is a big grocery/liquor store 5 mins away by car and Salmon Arm is about 15 mins away. Will definitely go back next summer.

Thank you kindly for your review. Unit #1 does have a beautiful view and is a perfect location, so close to all our amenities. Finz Restaurant is only a five minute drive down the road but I would recommend making a reservation during the peak summer months. Thank you again and we look forward to seeing you and your family again next year.

"Be specific in the layout you want for your family. Some of the chalet's have a room with bunkbeds on a different level then the master bedroom. This was a concern for us as our kids were quite young. We made mention of this and they transfered us to another unit."
