We overall enjoyed our stay at Blind Bay Resort. The campsite was a good size and close to laundry and the pool. The Wi-Fi works pretty well, and we were just a three minute walk to the beach. The pool ended up being a big hit with our son though! We were about 25 minutes from Salmon Arm so we went in almost daily for activities. For some reason before we arrived, I thought that the campground was on the beach, but it’s across the road. The road is pretty busy, so with our toddler we just had to be extra careful.

We were travelling with family in our rv's and spent 2 nights at the RV park here. Nice and clean with an ocean view and full hookups. A nice dock if you are a boater and the prettiest scenery around.
Close to amenities. I would go back for sure.

My family (3 teens plus hubby and me) stayed at Blind Bay Resort last week and we loved it. What a great location! Shelby the manager was so welcoming and my two teen girls looked forward to going and saying hi to her everyday. We were always greeted with a smile from employees and/or occupants of the resort. Our 2 bedroom park model (B2) was perfect for our family. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean, I enjoyed getting up early and taking the dog for a walk and listening to the birds and crickets. A week went by to fast. We would definately stay here again. You do have to walk across the road and down a lane to get to the lake but it was worth it. I look forward to seeing the next development of the lakefront sites. It was rear having a place to park our boat that we rented from Bayside Rentals. We all loved jumping off the dock and swimming in the beautiful lake. The restaurant at the resort was great. The staff were all so friendly and the food was YUMMY!! Make sure you get a cinnamon bun that was just baked. YUMMMMM! My only con was that the pool looked a little dirty so I didn't go in but my kids enjoyed it every night. I think the staff was trying to fix the pool so I'm sure it doesn't always look like that. Oh and my kids loved hanging out in the teen room area to play pool and watch movies.

Our issues:
Rv we rented was already occupied on check in. Moved to a subpar rv. Nothing was as advertised. Kitchen said to be fully stocked but didn’t have wine glasses or bowls for salads to name a few. Said to sleep 6 to 8 people but only enough supplies for 4 people maybe. Paid extra for our dog and the bunkhouse. Had to ask continually for more supplies as it wasn’t well stocked. Bbq tank empty upon our arrival. Bunk bed mattress very hard. No updates or maintenance done on the rental. Deck unsafe for kids. Had to dispose of our own garbage. At times throughout the day sewage could be smelt at our site. We are not picky people but for the price we paid and what was advertised, we expected our rental to be well looked after.

Hi Kathy, thank you for your review and we are sorry your experience was unsatisfactory. Going by your comments I believe I know which rental unit you are referencing and I will make the owner aware of your feedback so they can make any necessary improvements that have not already been made. The sewage smell must be from a neighbouring property outside the resort, as our bunkhouse sites are quite far away from the treatment system. Should you return to the Shuswap for a vacation there are other RV or Cottage rentals that we can offer and we would like to offer you a 15% discount on any direct booking of our personally owned RVs or Cottages, subject to availability. Kind wishes.

My family and a friends family stayed at the resort in July. We were extremely lucky to get a lake front spot! The sites were huge and very quiet. We had a boat so it was convenient to be able to see it at all times and wake up to an amazing view. Lake was fantastic! Not the best for swimming however they kept the beach groomed. Across the street was the main RV Resort. There is a pool, games room, free Wifi, laundry and work out room. Don't forget the sugar shack!!!! We also got to see a park model being delivered and set up. We were notified by the management staff that there would be noise, however it was still very quiet and the workers were very kind and considerate. We even got to have a tour!
We enjoyed our time here so much, we decided to come back next year in a seasonal spot!!! Too bad it is not on the lake, however it is only a short walk!
Would recommend!

We rented an RV site for a week in August 2016. Resort is very well kept, staff was very nice. Wood and ice is very reasonably priced. All owners/leasers are also very friendly. We stayed in lot A with a 44' fifth wheel and had no problems fitting. With all slides and awnings out i would still park a dually truck in the site and have LOTS of room. The beach is across the road but the roads not busy and a short walk. New RV sites were just released by the beach and I would like to reserve one of those next time. Beach and dock are a good size. The water at the beach is a little muddy/weedy but most people were swimming off the dock. There's also a fire pit on the beach which would be kinda cool but we never tried it. I can't comment on lot prices or lease rates but just as far as camping goes it's a great place and I will be back.

We were visiting friends at White Lake BC and were traveling in our 43 foot motorhome. We contacted Blind Bay resort and they had a spot for us.
The resort is paved which makes it nice to get around.
They were dog friendly as we travel with 2 small dogs.
We had access to a fitness centre which I used and was happy with the equipment.
The staff was helpful and it was quiet - except for the gas station behind the resort which is open till late in the night.

On route from the BC Kooteneys to the coast and stopped here for 1 night. Well run, clean and nice owners. We had two R.V's and the sites were fairly private, clean, and the neighborhood is quiet. We walked 10 min to a nice restaurant on the water recommended by the owner. Good amenities, well run and taken care of.

Our RV site was on the 3rd tier from the bay, full hook-ups and had a great view. we only needed a little get away and enjoyed our stay. great place if you have water toys. the sites are clean, very big and quiet. The sites are big enough for a large bus, tow car, extra car and boat trailer. If have a motorhome you will need a tow car to get around in. I think $75.00 per night is a little high for my pocket, but it was nice and they do have less expensive sites if they're available. Blind Bay is a well kept secret. Enjoy

Rachel went out of her way to make sure we had a spot for the July long weekend. We reserved at the last minute when we found out my sister/husband and their friends were at the resort. We really appreciated Rachel's efforts to ensure we were close to each other. We were all located on the lakeside with a tremendous view of the lake. The sites are very large, with level gravel sites that are very clean. The roads are paved,Wifi is free with a very strong signal, an Indian Restaurant and pool are onsite. You can get a cable box from Rachel as there is cable hookups on the lake side. Richard, Harry and Rachel are such good Ambassadors for this well maintained park! We highly recommend this park not just because of the large sites but more because of the Managers. Thanks again to you all!
