When I walked into reception, I was greeted by three very smiley faces and a “hello madam”. (I do love a madam!). Immediately lovely atmosphere. There was a little bit of banter between them which also made me feel like I’d walked into a hotel with people who like their jobs, and each other, and that’s a very welcoming atmosphere.
The barmaid (blonde lady, apologies for not having a name) was completely attentive whilst being really efficient and sorting the entire bar/restaurant.
Chicken Diane was perfect. I’d recommend the sauce all day long and if you’d like to bottle it and sell it, just let me know the stockist.
Room (seaview upgrade bless them) was cold when I walked in the door, but the heater changed that within about a minute. The room was clean, as was the bathroom.
I’d recommend this hotel most highly, for all of the above reasons. If you have happy staff, yum food and clean, spacious rooms, you’re definitely onto a winner 👍🏻

We stayed overnight on 7th July for bed and breakfast and were extremely impressed with the Covid19 measures that were in place. Hand sanitizer everywhere and everything in the room was sealed in polythene. Restaurant has lots of space between tables and staff all wore masks and kept safe distance. We could also have had all meals our room if we requested. Thank you for a great stay !

There were six in our party when we stayed at the Beachcroft for a long weekend in July 2020. We were warmly welcomed to the hotel by manager Phillip, who explained all the safeguards that the hotel had put in place to protect us from Covid-19. There were hand sanitisers freely available, and the reception and dining areas were obviously clean and hygienic. Staff wore masks and gloves at all times, and a one-way system had been put in place in the dining areas. Our rooms were clean, with a well equipped bathroom with a full sized bath and fully supplied with tea and coffee making supplies, bottled water and snacks. The bed was wide and super soft, just as we like it. Being on the second floor, we had a wonderful view of the beach, and the promenade, popular with runners and dog owners. Throughout the time we stayed, we felt that the Beachcroft team had put our welfare and safety at the highest priority, so that we felt totally safe and cared for during our stay (Two of our party are in their late seventies) We should also like to mention Lucas, and Andre for their unfailing efforts to make us feel comfortable and welcome, and Ash, who cheerfully took our complicated requests for our breakfasts. My parents and I shared a room as our stay was just two nights. It was on July 4th, the first day of operation post the COVID-19 lockdown.
The Beachcroft was fully prepared to handle the operational constraints of COVID, with hand sanitiser literally everywhere, and clear markings to show you which was to traverse the communal areas such as the bar, restaurant and reception areas. Alll staff wore masks throughout our stay and they have my admiration for their dilligence at it looked very uncomfortable!
Phillip (Hotel Manager) and his right hand man, Andre could not have been more welcoming and helpful during our visit. They were so keen to make our stay as comfortable as possible and the level of customer service was, rather refreshingly these days, second to none. This might not be a 5 star facilty but you will experience 5 star service from the moment you book to when you depart the hotel.
The outside of the hotel is set up so that you can still access and eat outside. There is a lovely 'satellite bubble' where one can sit in comfort and warmth away from the elements but still outside. We learned some more about the Beach Huts during our trip and I would encourage anyone to ask for a tour if staying in the hotel itself. I am sure, like us, that you will be returning and requesting the Beach Hut for your stay next time - they really are that lovely.
In summary, I would recommend this hotel for your stay in Felpham. Parking is plentiful and your car is safe. It is a few steps (or up a short slop for wheelchair users) to the promenade to walk along the sea front and Felpham Village is a stone's throw away and quite within walking/wheeling distance. I am sure that we will be back soon and I look forward to a Beach Hut stay where I can literally 'look through the round or square window' at the ocean as it rolls in. We had a two night stay in one of the luxury beach huts. They are a lot more spacious than you would imagine. Great facilities inside such as Smeg appliances and a large flat screen tv. The view from the hut is amazing, the closet to the beach you’ll ever stay. It is perfect for people watching as there is always something going on, but the views are breathtaking and look different at each time of the day and night. Equally, you don’t feel overlooked as there is a low privacy screen and glass window in front (which is a great wind shield). The staff were super friendly and very attentive - Carla especially was always looking out for us and looking to improve our stay - quick requests for ice buckets etc. one of the highlights was the breakfast served to the hut - top quality taste and presentation. Great to have a dedicated parking space outside the hut. The huts have been very thought through, with skyline views from the bed level out of the port hole, through to views from the sofa at night of the beach. Bathroom was a good size with plentiful supplies of good toiletries.
There is still room for improvement in the hotel, nothing major that detracted from our stay but we would want to see for our future stay. The bedroom pillows were not any good and I called for more or different types and was told there was not any. The restaurant prices are high for this location and venue, in terms of value for money. I think adding air conditioning for the huts will help with summer heat (temperature was fine for our stay), but also patio heaters would be a great addition too (we utilised throws/duvet to stay warm) and make the most of the evening view. The milk should be refreshed daily or at least increased in quantity.
Finally, they are super welcoming to dogs. We brought our small well behaved dog and all of the team made a fuss. They provided a bed, plentiful treats, a toy and bowl. And the Hut is per proofed so they can’t escape over the balcony. They also have dog washing facilities, spare poo bags, and lots of bowls dotted around for water and treats.
We look forward to returning in the near future. Ideal domestic getaway for couples.

Thankfully this break was booked before the madness that is now occurring.After following the brown tourist signs with the hotels name on and not expecting it to be at the end of a small cul-de-sac we knew immediately it was a good place to stay, Adjacent to the beach and promenade the fresh clean appearance and parking bays set out to the front giving ample space for even the largest 4x4. Enter into a clean and bright reception where Tom gave us a warm welcome and efficient service throughout our stay. A lovely clean bright room with an excellent large power shower en-suite albeit after quite a climb that would not be to everyone's liking. Dinner and breakfast gave us excellent choices with food cooked to perfection, care taken with presentation and hot food served on piping hot plates.(Always a good sign in my book). Restaurant staff were always attentive without fussing and Louis our ever present waiter was always on hand whenever required. Would certainly recommend this hotel to others and I just hope the business can pull through this plague that has beset us all as we definitely want to return.

This was our first visit to a hotel or restaurant since lock down and we felt really safe in the hotel. The hotel has taken all necessary precautions with hand sanitising sites throughout, well spaced out tables in the restaurant with a separate entry and exit and staff wearing masks and gloves at all times.Check-in and departure was all completed on line and the key was on the door on arrival. At no time did we feel restricted in what we were able to do, whilst at the same time we did not feel anxious either. The staff team could not have been more helpful or welcoming.
We booked full board as we were not sure what would be open for evening meals in the area. Dinners were of excellent quality as was the service. We played pool and table tennis and took drinks on the veranda over looking the sea. There are plenty of places to walk to without taking the car and the option of hiring bikes. Locally we visited the coast, marinas around Chichester and the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum at Goodwood, which is a must for anybody visiting the area.
We had a great 5 days. Under the circumstances, whilst not wishing to travel abroad, we had a great break and hopefully put a little bit back into the UK economy. We would highly recommend this very friendly, well priced family hotel by the sea.

Our Wimbledon based book club stayed here for two nights in early November2021 (10 of us in all).
From checking in to checking out the staff were professional, obliging and thorough with nothing being too much trouble to ensure our stay was as enjoyable experience as possible. Particular mention here goes to Andre who handled the initial booking and Carla for the meet and greet both ensuring that the individual and group requirements were accommodated with Phil and Jan delivering with excellence on the promises made.
The hotel is a delightful place, close to the beach and promenade, rooms are attractively presented, very comfortable and adhere to the highest standards of cleanliness. Some have balconies, verandas and large windows facilitating good views of the sea, Dog owners are welcome and accommodated on the ground floor We had breakfast both days and one evening meal on the our arrival day, all expertly and attentively managed with quiet efficiency by Luis and his staff. As a group the general consensus which I am representing in this review is that we have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending the hotel, the staff and the location for a short weekend stay. We have great memories of the experience and have booked again for next year

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights because we had tickets to visit the Weald and Downlands Museum (which was excellent) . We had room with a sea view which was lovely. The room was pleasently furnished, with efforts to update it with nice accessories. We had everything we could want including an iron and ironing board. The beds were comfortable and there was no disturbance from other rooms as there was onyone adjacent to us. We had a lovely welcome fron reception staff who were consistenly pleasent throughout our stay. The breakfast was very goos, especially the choice of fruit and cereal. There were also alternatives to a full English, such as advacado and kippers. We ate once in restuarant for dinner. The food was tasty but we thought it rather overpriced and, unlike the breakfast, there were few vegetarian options. The location of the hotel is great, within yards of the walk way by the beach.

Our first visit since last Autumn. As usual the rooms, food and staff were excellent. Our complements to Philip Roberts, the General Manager, for his first class organization. Enforced closure has seen several enhancements with new carpets, furniture, painting and re-docorating throughout the hotel. Some sea-view rooms now have their own bacony. The outdoor eating area has been enlarged and offers a wide range of snacks at decent prices.

I have stayed there. Our Beach hut was spacious and had a beautiful terrace with a sea view. The dining room is big, means there is plenty of space. The public areas are more old fashioned sea side charm, but very clean. They are not a five star corporate hotel with chandeliers and marble and do not purport to be as such. I felt my money was very well spent with excellent service and as I say, a fabulous beach hut suite.

Yes Towels we’re made available ( decent size ). One thing to add from other answers is that post swim showers are taken in your room not available poolside.
There are more places to choose from in the Felpham area.
